We zijn een door een familie gerunde kleinere boot. Het beste van The Mermaid is dat je je dag op zee met een unieke ervaring achterlaat in plaats van slechts een cijfer te beginnen. Bij het instappen wordt u persoonlijk begroet door de kapitein. Aangezien we een kleinere boot zijn, gaan we zonder extra kosten de grotten binnen. Je kunt de grotten bekijken en foto's maken. Het draait allemaal om de klantervaring aan boord van de Mermaid en we zullen ons uiterste best doen om ervoor te zorgen dat u geniet van uw dag op zee en ervoor te zorgen dat dit het hoogtepunt van uw vakantie wordt!

Het instappen begint L-Menqa Jetty 30 minuten voor uw vertrektijd vanuit de prachtige badplaats Bugibba.
Als u langs de kustlijn vaart, heeft u een spectaculair uitzicht op de Maltese kustlijn. Wij zijn een kleinere boot waarmee u zonder extra kosten de grotten kunt betreden. De boot gaat de grot binnen zodat je de gelegenheid hebt om foto's te maken. Je eerste stop is bij de beroemde Blue Lagoon Comino. Waar je de kans krijgt om te zwemmen, snorkelen en duiken in het kristalheldere water van de Middellandse Zee. Eenmaal aangemeerd bij Comino kun je vanaf de boot duiken en springen. U kunt het land van Comino te voet ontdekken. Voor de lunch is er een snackbar aan boord beschikbaar om eten en drinken te kopen en compleet met toiletfaciliteiten.
Na 1 uur op Comino gaat u aan boord van de The Mermiad, waar u naar uw tweede halte Mgarr Harbour, Gozo, vaart. Terwijl de boten de haven binnenvaren, raden we je aan je camera's bij de hand te hebben om foto's te maken van het adembenemende eiland Gozo. Je krijgt de kans om te doen wat je wilt op het eiland Gozo, de Gozitaanse cultuur te verkennen en jezelf onder te dompelen. Op het genoemde tijdstip ligt The Mermaid in de haven klaar om uw rondvaart voort te zetten. Op de terugweg naar Malta vaart de boot door het Comino-kanaal en neemt u mooiere grotten in, ofwel Crystal Lagoon Caves of St Marys Caves, afhankelijk van het weer voordat u stopt bij uw volgende bestemming.

An affordable excursion with good guides. Nice and easy. Swimming in Blue Lagoon and on to Gozo. We chose to stop to eat in the harbor area.
We really enjoyed our trip. It's not the biggest boat (think it only holds 50) but we loved that. It didn't feel crowded. We thought it was great value for money for just over 6 hours but with hindsight we wished we paid the extra 6 euros each for the mini bus to take us to Victoria in Gozo, as there wasn't much to do in the harbour. You can only book this during the trip. The 2 staff members were friendly and knowledgeable. A trip to the Blue Lagoon is a must when visiting Malta and an hour stop was enough for us. It was super busy (as expected). We had time for a coffee and a comfort break. We were expecting tourist prices but a lovely coffee was only 2 euros. If you have mobility issues you will struggle getting off the boat at the Blue Lagoon. It's very rocky and uneven under foot. No reflection on the trip operators of course, but worth knowing. Overall, would definitely recommend.
A late booking for a family of 4 bus on time,had to wait for sea vessel to arrive at port,would recommend taking some warm clothing as sea wind reduced everyone who was exposed to the cross wind.

Amazing tour! Beautiful views, water like a dream, got to swim in a clear water, and last but not least explore new places. Captain and his helper were amazing and funny. It’s a smaller boat than those huge ones but it is much more peaceful and “personal”, my feet were hanging out of the boat and water sometimes touced them. Totally suggest!
The experience wasn't bad - but the customer service was poor, which made the trip stressful & not as enjoyable. We received a text message at midnight the night before the trip to say the trip time had been changed to a whole hour earlier - therefore we had to rush and only just made it after having to pay extra for a taxi & missing breakfast. The customer service following this was shocking - being told they sent an email (to which I checked & never received any correspondence from them), followed by being ignored!
The crew were lovely and the boat was nice and clean. Timings were good and everything ran smooth, no waiting about. It was easy to find in saint Paul's bay too. However, the waves were SO choppy and on a little boat like that it made us feel really really sick. When we got to Gozo we decided to not get the boat back and to get the ferry (€5) instead to avoid the sickness. The blue lagoon was SO busy too, they say you need a pass to get in but don't stop the amount of people having one, nowhere to put any belongings, leave them on the boat is my advice.

Captain & bosun were so friendly and organised on board. This was our first time in Malta , Amazing views and memory’s made. Thank you so much it was such an amazing experience. Worth every penny would highly recommend this to anyone. We can’t wait to come back X
The boat trip was great, we first made a 1.5h stop at blue lagoon which was very beautiful. Then we hopped back onto the boat and got dropped off at Gozo port where it there was the option to get a bus into Victoria, but we decided to hang around the post where there were a few small quiet restaurants where we stopped for lunch. Once back on the boat, we made one final stop at st.Paul island where there was the option to either explore the island or swim. Snorkels were available to rent at €5. Our captain and skipper were very helpful and knowledgable. Thank you for a wonderful trip!
Took this trip today with friends. Very well run with friendly and informative crew. Information regarding times for meet ups was drip fed to us as the day went on so as not to overload us! We were additionally given the option to take the bus trip to and from the drop off point in Gozo to the capital Victoria. There was a small extra cost for this but it was well worth doing. A piece of advice: if you are going to the Blue Lagoon don’t forget to separately download the QR code as you will need to show this on arrival. This is free, but if you want a deckchair and parasol it’s an extra cost (run by the BL authorities). We all had a great day - would definitely recommend this boat trip.
