De Golden Circle is een instant klassieker. Laat je ophalen bij je accommodatie in Reykjavik door je Gids die je meeneemt op een geothermische reis door het vulkanische landschap en de unieke IJslandse natuurwonderen. Geniet van een late lunch in de beroemde Friðheimar Tomatenboerderij. Uw Gids zal u helpen de momenten te koesteren en foto's van u te nemen in de spectaculaire natuur tijdens de tour die zal worden geüpload naar een drive waar u uw foto's herinneringen na de tour kunt downloaden. Om een comfortabele en exclusieve ervaring te garanderen, is de tour beperkt tot maximaal 6 passagiers per voertuig, die in stijl reizen in een Mercedes-Benz V-Klasse.

We beginnen bij het UNESCO-werelderfgoed Þingvellir, waar Althing rond 930 werd opgericht, maar Thingvellir is waar de twee continenten, Europa en Amerika elkaar ontmoeten.
Ook bezoeken we de geothermische actieve vallei Haukadalur waar onder andere de warmwaterbronnen Geysir en Strokkur zich bevinden. Maak een wandeling door het gebied en vang een of twee uitbarstingen. Hier kun je een kopje koffie of een lichte snack nemen als je honger hebt en gebruik maken van de toiletfaciliteiten voordat we verder gaan.
De meest iconische en geliefde waterval in IJsland met de Hvítá-rivier die via de trap naar beneden stroomt en lijkt op een van de krachtigste watervallen van Europa. Gullfoss is in alle seizoenen perfect voor de foto.
Van daaruit gaan we lunchen bij de beroemde Greenhouse Tomato farm, waar je lunch wordt geserveerd - inbegrepen in je tour - kies tussen hun wereldberoemde tomatensoep, ravioli pasta of gegrilde tortilla pizza en eet alles wat je wilt van het beste en het lekkerste zelfgebakken brood dat je ooit hebt gehad. Je kunt ook wat lokale desserts en drankjes kopen - om nog maar te zwijgen van de lekkerste Bloody Mary's. De kans is groot dat we het IJslandse paard tegenkomen en aaien op onze weg naar buiten.

An exceptional experience. Some spectacular sights. The unforgettable nature of the tour was, to a large extent, down to the outstanding quality of our guide, Gretar. His knowledge of all things Icelandic, including, for example, the geology, history, culture and political views and beliefs was impressive. He also took some great photos!
Grétar was our tour guide he did a great job talking with us about Icelandic history and answering many questions. Lunch at the tomato farm was absolutely delicious and would highly recommend this tour.
Gretar was absolutely amazing! He was very clear about the schedule (where we were going, how long it would take to get there, what we would do at each stop). He was incredibly knowledgeable about Iceland history - we were firing questions at him the whole day and he not only had answers but statistics for almost everything. He also took photos of us and the scenery the whole day, so we could truly just take everything in and enjoy. Would highly recommend. Truly a white glove experience.

This tour was amazing. I had read reviews raving about Gretar, and he was as good as they said. He picked us up timely and gave us all a clear description of the day’s itinerary including where we were going and how long it would take to get there and how long we would spend at each site. He was very patient answering everyone’s questions. He knows so much about the land and the history of Iceland and I learned an incredible amount of interesting and useful information. I can’t imagine going to those sites without having a guide like Gretar to help you fully understand what you are looking at and the context and history. He gave people recommendations for other activities and meals. A very cool feature is that he takes photos of everyone throughout the day and then uploads them at the end of the day for free. He is an excellent guide, and the trip was incredible. My favorite was Gullfoss Falls but I loved everything, and the tomato soup and unlimited bread at the end was perfect. I would definitely recommend this tour.
Gretar was the perfect guide for our mother-daughter tour of the Golden Circle. We were able to see all of the highlights: including the ridge between the two plates an active geyser, and stunning waterfalls. Lunch at the Tomato Farm was beautiful and warm and delicious. The bread and butter sprinkled with tomato salt is not to be missed. Overall, the day was relaxed and had the perfect low-key vibe (which was perfect for us). Mission accomplished on an amazing trip to Iceland. Thanks, Gretar!

This was a great experience! Gretar was a fantastic guide that gave us a wonderful experience. Gretar is very kind and taught us a lot about each place (while also capturing some great photos). I feel like we had plenty of time at each stop and LOVED eating at the tomato farm. Being surrounded by warm lights and greenery really warms the bones up after a fun day of exploring the golden circle! I highly recommend!
