Golf en wijn: in het hart van Florence

Wonderful experience! Catarina and Eduardo were great hosts and shared lots of golf & wine knowledge. Highly recommend!

Caterina and Eduardo are wonderful hosts! As a family of four with 2 adult sons this was a perfect excursion for us. The pickup and transportation was on time and very comfortable. The golfing was challenging for us and we appreciated Caterina and Eduardo's guidance on the course. After golf, we toured the beautiful Casa Sola winery then enjoyed the delicious wines with lunch. It was one of the highlights of our trip and I can't recommend it enough.

My wife and I did the half-day 9-hole option. For us, it was the perfect combination of golf and Tuscany adventure. Caterina picked us up from our airbnb and drove us a short distance to the local golf course. We were greeted at the course by Eduardo who caddied for for us and gave us plenty of tips/guidance along the way. He is a pro! Eduardo’s son Lorenzo joined as well who is an accomplished young golfer and fine young man. We had fun and enjoyed walking the challenging 9-hole course. Next, Caterina drove us to Casa Sola winery which is located in the Chianti Classico area of Tuscany, explaining all about the wine and region on the way. When we arrived we had a private tour of the winery, a tasting of several Chianti Classico wines, and four course lunch. We loved it so much we ordered wine, balsamic and olive oil and shipped it back to the U.S. We definitely recommend booking this golf and wine tour!!

I do not ever give bad reviews because I feel like vacation time is important and don’t want to spend with bad reviews but I honestly feel like the person going to book this experience should have all the information because this is an all day event and very expensive and definitely not done professionally! We arrived to the golf course, and we were very surprised that most of the holes were pars threes a few par fours but the course is in rough conditions. The husband ( he is very nice ) wanted to stay with us along with their son and play with us!? We found this to be cumbersome, and not at all what we planned. We were handed three used golf balls each and our golf clubs were very used ( as expected) but the grips were sticky and there was trash in the bags !There is no golf shop, or restaurant just a small covering with a vending machine so we were shocked when Caterina explained that she would pick us up around 12:15 when I told her that we played golf often and that nine holes should take us roughly 2 hours and that will be done around 11:15-11:30 she insisted that I was wrong and didn’t plan our lunch until 1:15 at the winery. I explained that we have a 11 year old who needs lunch and what were we suppose to do outside in hot sun in June for a hour after golf?! She said she can’t change the wine tasting and she will take us back to the hotel and give us a partial refund- she did not take us to the winery and after texting us and taking a screen shot of our PayPal information and sending it to her for a refund she texted back she would - four days later she has ignored us . Our time in Florence was amazing but this was awful experience

So very disappointed. We had planned our whole trip to Florence around this experience. The night before I received a message from the tour operator she had been in an accident and had to cancel. We did receive a full refund. I do hope she’s okay. So disappointed though. Will never be able to do this again. It was to be a special once in a lifetime gift to my husband

Eduardo gave us many tips and pointers throughout our round. Next, Caterina drove us to Chianti Classico, explaining all about the wine and region on the way. When we arrived we had a private tour, tasting, and “light” four course lunch. We ended up shipping some wine back to the states it was so good. I definitely recommend booking this golf and wine tour!!

I booked the day as birthday present for my husband and have to thank Catarina and Eduardo SO much for the great experience. it was absolutely splendid, so well organized and we had so much fun! Eduardo is a very professional golf teacher and even their son Lorenzo is already a golf profi ;-) so they made my husband very happy at the golf course. Afterwards we had such a tasty lunch together with Catarina in a small and wonderful restaurante with an professional high-quality winetasting of wellchosen organic wine we loved so much. Catarina and Eduardo are so professional but lovely and easygoing. From the beginning to the end they organized everything for us, even the weather ;-) it was so easy. We had a wonderful sunny day in Florence with them we will never forget. thanks so much Catarina and Eduardo, we definitely book with you again next year.

It was an amazing birthday gif from my girlfriend. I played golf and my girlfriend was with me 💕. A caddy helped me during the game and then a very good lunch together with a wine tasting . Caterina was an excellent sommelier guest 🍷🍷 A vey fine gif 💕

I had an amazing golf day! Eduardo is a great host! We met easily and in ten minutes I was on a golf course. After the play we enjoyed the lunch with the winetasting only with organic product! Great value. Thank you for everything
