Golden Triangle Tour

An amazing experience for this first-time traveller to India. The full package from seamless transfers to and from Delhi Airport, accommodation, driver in comfortable vehicle, and the most magnificent sites and knowledgeable guides is highly recommended for first-time travellers to India. My recommendation is to make the most of the experience eating only Indian food (plenty of safe places with magnificent food) and absorbing the sights sounds and smells of India. And take and share Los of photos. Family and friends will love them and want to come as well. The highlight: the Taj Mahal really is a wonder of the world. Absolutely magnificent.

Booked through Tourradar, HolidaysAt provided a wonderful introduction to India on their Golden Triangle tour. Amit was very helpful in providing information during my booking. My only issue was in trying to ascertain the names of hotels or similar of where I would be staying, which was necessary for visa application and to notify family. As a sole female traveller, I will admit to some trepidation, but my fears were allayed when I excited the Delhi Airport and was given a warm welcome by Suresh, tour guide for the 6 day tour. The Goodwill Hotel was well below the standard I was expecting, the room was unclean, and there was no functioning restaurant. Meals had to be ordered and taken in the room. This was rectified swiftly by Amit the following night when conditions at the hotel became unsafe and the 6 members on our Group tour were moved to the Saket Hotel, a lovely hotel. From this moment on, our tour around Delhi, to Agra and Jaipur, and back to Delhi was exceptionally good. Suresh was our tour guide for the entire trip. His love for India and his sharing of an indepth knowledge of all the sights we visited were greatly appreciated and made this trip an unforgettable experience. He went above and beyond to ensure we all enjoyed and were safe on our tour. Our transport was very clean and comfortable with an excellent driver. On arrival back in Delhi, we were welcomed back to Saket Hotel by Amit and provided the opportunity to offer any feedback. The sights seen were amazing, especially he Taj Mahal, which was on my bucket list. This was an amazing "starter" trip for anyone wanting to begin to experience India. Packed with highlights, everything ran like clockwork and there were no disappointments - friendly people, incredible sights, amazing experiences and incredible food. Highly recommended!

I recommend booking a tour to do the Golden Triangle sights in India. The company I chose was perfect in every way. You are assigned a Tour Manager (ours was Amit Tomar who has 15 years experience in coordinating all the people and drivers and details so much so that you don't have to do anything except show up in the hotel lobby at the time they say) who customizes your choices for either 3,4,or 5 star hotels. You have one driver for your group (2-10 people) and a very comfortable car. You are basically chauffered around to the various cities to which you meet your guide (different in each city as they are locals that have been trained for a minimum of 1 month ea year to get their liscense to be a professional tour guide representing the country. The driver and tour guide was always on time and their one goal was to answer a zillion questions from us about Indian customs and culture, history, and today while presenting the current site/city in great depth and with enthusiasm. No worries throughout and tour was actually better than we anticipated. How often does that happen! The company (Holidays At aka Yatra Exotic) is experienced (in biz since 2009), has a great website with every kind of tour in India you can imagine for almost any number of days and combinations. The price was reasonable and worth 10x more. They are very interested in detailed feedback about each guide and hotel in each city and the driver, vehicle, services to make sure their folks are performing as requested. I would take another tour with this company in a second. They seem to do India only-but I wish they did tours in other places.

I really enjoyed the trip to North India. I think Holidays At is a great team! I liked the program and enjoyed meeting all the nice people and a visit to India a truly wonderful experience.

It was really a very nice tour planned by Holidays At Team. Thanks for the Very pleasant stay in Agra, Jaipur and Delhi and breakfast was very good with some cultural activities in Jaipur. Room's and hotel's was very clean and staff was helpful. we are the family of 9 person and enjoyed a lot during this trip. We enjoyed the elephant ride at Amber fort and the sunset view of Taj Mahal.
