De locatie van Althing, het oude parlement van IJsland. Bij Þingvellir zijn de Euraziatische en Noord-Amerikaanse plaatgrenzen die door IJsland lopen duidelijk zichtbaar - de platen bewegen hier uit elkaar en het land ertussen daalt.
Vanaf Þingvellir rijden we langs de bergen naar het wereldberoemde geothermische warmwaterbrongebied rondom Geysir. Hoewel de originele Geysir op dit moment niet actief is, spuit zijn buurman, Strokkur, om de 5 of 10 minuten.
Gullfoss betekent de Gouden waterval en je zult er niet teleurgesteld zijn. Gullfoss is eigenlijk twee afzonderlijke watervallen van 11 en 22 meter hoogte. Op een zonnige dag zal waarschijnlijk een regenboog verschijnen en je kunt wensen maken die zelfs uitkomen!
Het is een mooie en dynamische waterval. Net boven de waterval is een gewone schaapskooi en vlak naast de waterval vind je een koele zalmladder.
Het is een mooi gevormde pseudo-krater die zo'n 5.000 jaar geleden werd gevormd, met een vrij diep meer op de bodem.

Our guide driver Jena what very accommodating and friendly. She was friendly and willing to make adjustments as the weather was y very good and we had some mobility restrictions in our private group.
The tour guide is nice. Very familiar with the local features. She was able spoke fluent Chinese and English.

The tour guide, Xiao Juan (筱娟), was very nice. She recommended good restaurants and photo spots for us and provided a thorough introduction to Iceland’s culture, landmarks, and even its small animals! Our awesome guide and driver Hilly was very accommodating on adding or changing stops. He also gave great recommendations on where to shop and what to avoid. He was also very understanding of my aging parents' mobility issues. Highly recommended private tour for a drama-free, chill tour! Bonus he was a very skilled driver as well.

Fantastic trip. So great to see waterfalls, ice bergs, glaciers, mountains, black sand, huge rocks. Gunnar was a great guide. He knows the roads, the places to see. He was a careful driver and really packed our days with adventure.He had great places for us to stay, fixed some great breakfasts for us, and knew good places to eat.
In-person to see the natural landscape with a deep imprint in the mind, rare landscape, glacier volcano landscape to observe, luck is good, the weather in the trip is good, to appreciate the beautiful view is not better, there is a chance to hope that you come to the scene to watch, Blue Lake hot spring is very well known, comfortable body, driver and tourist guide, each to a tourist attraction detailed, more understanding, thank you
My wife were scheduled to be in Reykjavik for two days, so my wife sorted a private tour for one day. Sage, our tour guide, met us at the hotel very promptly. Her tour schedule met our needs. Sage was very knowledgeable about the areas and knew the ins and outs of each location. We were able to venture to other places "normal" tourists could not. She also recommended great food to taste and even broke our schedule to visit a farm that had fantastic ice cream. My wife and I felt comfortable and safe while on this tour. Saga also assisted us on the walks to and from the waterfalls to ensure our safety. Without a doubt, I recommend this tour company and specifically our guide. The eight hours flew by.
