Het is niet alleen wat we doen, maar ook hoe we het doen. Wij zijn een klein bedrijf, alleen familie en vrienden, met jarenlange ervaring met begeleiding in IJsland. We houden ervan onze gasten hartelijk te verwelkomen en hen ons prachtige eiland te laten zien. Velen van ons hebben een achtergrond in de kunst, sommigen hebben de politiek geprobeerd, maar belangrijker is dat we allemaal ervaringen uit het leven hebben die ons helpen beseffen dat deze vakantie, je van plan bent, een heilige tijd voor jou en je groep is. We zullen ons uiterste best doen om van de dag de beste dag van uw reis naar IJsland te maken. :)

Een van de beroemdste plaatsen van IJsland. Dit is waar de Vikingen elke zomer bijeenkwamen om de wet te bespreken, overtuigingen te maken en natuurlijk de politiek van hun tijd te oefenen (iets dat echt niet veel veranderd is in 1.000 jaar) Het Nationaal Park is ook een unieke plaats in termen van geologie, omdat dit de plaats is waar je duidelijk kunt zien hoe de tektonische platen uit elkaar trekken in IJsland.
We bezoeken het warme brongebied in Haukadalur, het huis van Geysir - de geiser waarnaar alle geisers zijn vernoemd. Hoewel de oude Geysir al enige tijd slapend is, barst zijn kleine broertje Strokkur elke paar minuten mooi los.
Deze prachtige waterval is een van de hoogtepunten van de Golden Circle-tour. Het is moeilijk om de ervaring van daar te zijn te beschrijven. Er is iets aan het zien van duizenden tonnen glaciaal water dat elke seconde doorstroomt. Echt geweldig.
Kerið, een vulkanisch kratermeer gelegen in het Grímsnes gebied in het zuiden van IJsland, is een van de meest visueel verbluffende geologische wonderen van het land. Deze levendige blauwe parel, die deel uitmaakt van de westelijke vulkaanzone die het schiereiland Reykjanes en de Langjökull-gletsjer omvat, is slechts 6.500 jaar oud – waardoor het een van de drie meest herkenbare vulkanische kraters in IJsland is. De caldera is ongeveer 55 m diep, 170 m breed en 270 m breed, en bestaat uit een uniek rood vulkanisch gesteente.
De Secret Lagoon, plaatselijk bekend als Gamla Laugin, is het oudste zwembad van IJsland. Het werd in 1891 gemaakt in Hverahólmi, een geothermisch gebied in de buurt van Flúðir. Het is een natuurlijke, eenvoudige en unieke IJslandse ervaring.

After having travelled extensively and written all sorts of reviews, writing a review for this trip seems more difficult than an exam. Words fall short to describe the warm and luxurious manner with which Dofri treated us. Educated and literate, generous and considerate, intelligent and witty, fun loving with a flair for telling stories and all that you can imagine is what barely describes him. He was always ready to capture our best moments with the lens . Dofri has a unique way of dealing with children; even the most reserved children befriend him easily. Iceland means Reykjavik Erupts; Reykjavik Erupts means Dofri. Thank you for the everlasting memories.

Our tour of the Golden Circle was incredible! The our guide, Dagur, was very knowledgeable, friendly, and funny. He knew all the good spots to go, and always made sure we stayed safe with the weather. Would highly recommend!!

Had an excellent time with our tour guides, they truly made the experience a unique and unforgettable time. Both in terms of convenience and experience with the area we had a great time with our whole group. The stories they told kept our attention and gave us great things to add to the experience.
This was one of the best experiences I've ever had. This was my first time in Iceland and I am glad to say that I it was everything I had imagined and more because of Reykjavik Erupts. Our tour guide, Dofri, was truly amazing and very knowledgeable. He would often grace us with many stories about the local culture, sites, and his own life, which made the whole experience feel a lot more personal compared to what you would get from one of those large tour companies. If you are planning a trip to Iceland and want an unforgettable experience, I would highly recommend booking with Reykjavik Erupts.
The tour was just as great as the views. The tour guide knew exactly where to stop for great pictures, and he was patient the entire time, even though our group wasn’t the most punctual. Thank you to Dofri for being an amazing guide! He was very patient and we were able to get a beautiful view of the northern lights. He really put in a lot of effort to make sure we had a good experience and brought a lot of enthusiasm and humor even when it was taking a bit to find anything at first. Would definitely recommend! He had a lot of fun and historical stories and it was great having him as our guide for the Golden Circle as well. We had no regrets booking!
Dofiri was an amazing guide, with so much patience as we hunted the northern lights. He also brough up the energy by making us sing and not letting us lose our enthusiasm whenever we got too cold! Would definetely recommend him for a tour!

The trip was amazing! It was so cool to see the natural hot springs, I never would have guessed they were so big and extensive Our tour guide was truly awesome too, he told us stories the whole time about how Justin Bieber boiled his foot in these hot springs once, ect ect
