De Goðafoss-watervaltour vanuit de haven van Akureyri is een veilige en gemakkelijke dagtour voor cruiseschippassagiers die stoppen in de stad Akureyri. We hebben een retour-naar-schip-garantie. We stoppen 1 uur of langer bij de waterval en bieden voldoende tijd om de IJslandse natuur op zijn hoogtepunt te ervaren. We rijden door de stad Akureyri tijdens de tour richting de Goðafoss-waterval. De rijtijd bedraagt ongeveer 40 minuten tot we onze bestemming bereiken.
De rijafstand van Akureyri naar Goðafoss bedraagt maximaal 45 minuten.
De Goðafoss-waterval ligt in de Skjálfandi-gletsjerrivier, langs ringweg 1. Een van de populairste attracties van IJsland. Na 1 uur bij de waterval te hebben doorgebracht rijden we terug naar Akureyri. Ongeveer 40 minuten rijden.
De terugrit terug naar Akureyri duurt maximaal 45 minuten.

Wij halen alle Cruiseschip passagiers buiten uw schip op. Zoek naar Saga Travel, onze gidsen dragen rode hesjes. Ophalen begint 30 minuten voor vertrek van de tour. Onze tours worden aangepast aan de aankomsttijd van elk schip.

This excursion delivered as promised. Arrival and check in instructions were clear, staff assisted us to the correct bus out of a sea of buses, our driver and our guide Manuel were helpful and got us to the waterfall and back in good time. Additional commentary on the bus provided interesting information. The drink and Icelandic pastry with access to a clean restroom were appreciated. Several drop off options permitted us to explore the city after the excursion to Godafoss. Overall exactly as expected and a good value.
Bus was terrible. AC did not work. It was 100% heat and everyone was very hot on the bus. Bus driver could not figure how to cut off heat and turn on the air conditioning. We were all miserable. Saga Travel is not a good tour travel to book. Viator should look for alternative tour excursion company.

Truly one of the best excursions I’ve ever done. The scenery to and from the waterfalls was amazing. The waterfalls themselves are spectacular and easily accessible. Highly recommend.
Excellent trip to the stunning waterfalls - Michael our tour guide was very interesting telling us lots of information about the area - explained the tour and pick up times etc. Had enough time to enjoy the waterfalls and a welcome hot chocolate and cake which was included at the nearby hotel. A great excursion - thank you
Really well organised. Found the provider (Saga Travel) straight away after getting off the ship. Got taken to the bus. Guide (Michael) was brilliant. Told you lots of info. Godafoss Waterfall was definitely worth the visit and the drink and Icelandic treat were lovely! Bus driver gave you option of dropping you off at 3 different locations on the return journey which was great. Thoroughly enjoyed and would highly recommend.
Good way to spend a couple of hours . Well organised , good tour guide and driver . Nice donut and cake at the waterfall and great to walk along the waterfalls and nice scenery

We really enjoyed the tour to the beautiful Godaffos Waterfall. The tour guide, Hilmar, was excellent and very funny. We loved all his stories. I can’t remember the driver’s name, but she was from Spain and she was very helpful and answered all our questions. Both were very friendly. Highly recommended!
This was a great tour. We were on a cruise ship and they pick you up right outside. The waterfall has a little restaurant right there so you can go get coffee or tea when you are done.
This is truly an incredible experience. You see the beauty and magic that the waterfall brings. Listening to the thunder of the water, remind you of the power of nature.
