Downtown Anchorage is een geweldige plek om uw lokale, begeleide verkenning te beginnen. Je verkenning van de grootste stad van Alaska begint met een op maat gemaakte ophaalservice bij je hotel. We delen een stukje van de geschiedenis van Anchorage en beginnen je tour.
Beluga Point ligt net ten zuiden van Anchorage aan de Turnagain Arm. Deze bestemming biedt ongelooflijke vergezichten over Alaska en dieren in het wild. Dahlschapen zijn vaak zichtbaar op de rotsachtige rotsen van de Chugach-bergen en tijdens het migreren kunnen Beluga-walvissen door de fjord worden gezien.
Na Beluga Point stoppen we bij het Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. Dit is uw gegarandeerde kans om beren, elanden, elanden en vele andere dieren uit Alaska te zien. Je gids deelt informatie over alle fantastische dieren in het centrum. Wij hebben een paar favorieten om te delen!

Explorer Glacier Seizoensgebonden kunnen we de schilderachtige gletsjervijvers van Explorer Glacier zien en genieten van het bekijken van de omliggende hangende gletsjers van de prachtige Portage Valley
Seizoensgebonden zelfstandige wandeling naar de voet van de prachtige Byron Glacier. Loop over de sneeuw en bekijk de aanloop van het ijs. Typisch, eind mei tot eind september 30 minuten • Toegangsbewijs inbegrepen
Geniet van selectieve uitzichtpunten en stops om adelaars, berggeiten, walvissen en prachtige landschappen te ervaren en te fotograferen.
Thuisbasis van 130 vogelsoorten. Het Sanctuary maakt deel uit van het Anchorage Coastal Wildlife Refuge. Mooie schilderachtige stop voorafgaand aan drop off in Anchorage

We absolutely enjoyed this tour! We had thought about cancelling as we had been on a train and 2 bus tours in recent days. However, we were flying out of Anchorage late that evening so figured, what else would we do?!! So very glad we decided to go ahead and do the tour...bonus was it was a large comfortable van not a bus! We visited a quaint bakery for coffee and sweets, and then went to see a small secluded pond that was just beautiful against the mountainside. Gorgeous water color, perfect photo stop! Next stop, the Alaska Conservation Center. Wow! That was a beautiful place to get out and walk and see the wildlife up close. We had plenty of time to go at our own pace and for those that didn't want to walk, the van could drive around to see everything. Our last stop was a hike back to a glacier. Again, our driver/guide delivered on another beautiful spot! Our lunch at BaseCamp near Alyeska Ski Resort was yummy. Anchorage was our last stop after being in Alaska for cruise/land tour. So it was great way to end our trip! We were absolutely very happy we did this tour and would definitely recommend it for anyone!

Guide Sunshine was great! Really enjoyed the day 6 hour driving scenic views, stop at Alaska Nature Conservancy, and taking big boat ride around lake Portage to see Portage Glacier up close.

Excellent experience to checkout Anchorage prior to our land trip beginning. Super info, small size group, nice ability to see the sights and make stops without feeling rushed. Opportunity to see the wildlife at Conservation Center, enjoyed hiking near glacier and a waterfall. Nice lunch spot near ski area. Would highly recommend this tour!
