We vertrekken vroeg in de dag in een comfortabele touringcar en genieten van een onvergetelijke ervaring langs enkele van de meest iconische bestemmingen van Catalonië. Tijdens de reis naar Girona zal onze deskundige gids ons onderdompelen in de fascinerende geschiedenis en cultuur van Catalonië. Zo kunnen we een stad vol charme en verrassingen ontdekken. Bij aankomst krijgen we een rondleiding langs de belangrijkste bezienswaardigheden: we wandelen door de historische Joodse wijk, steken de beroemde Eiffelbrug over en bewonderen de iconische kleurrijke huizen langs de rivier de Onyar, de basiliek van Sant Feliu en de majestueuze kathedraal van Girona. Na de rondleiding heeft u vrije tijd om op uw eigen tempo van de stad te genieten: slenter door de smalle straatjes, proef de lokale keuken of ontspan gewoon op een van de gezellige pleinen. Later gaan we naar Figueres, de geboorteplaats van Salvador Dalí en een must-see aan de Costa Brava.
De eerste stop is Girona, waar u vrije tijd heeft om de stad op uw eigen tempo te ontdekken. Slenter door de charmante straatjes, verken het historische centrum of ontspan in een van de cafés voordat u uw reis vervolgt.
De volgende stop is Figueres, een strategische stad die Spanje met Frankrijk verbindt en bekendstaat om haar culturele sfeer en historische betekenis.
In Figueres bevindt zich het Dalí Museum, een artistiek juweel gebouwd op de plek van het voormalige theater van de stad. Dit museum herbergt de grootste en meest complete collectie werken van Salvador Dalí en is een plek waar de magie van het surrealisme samensmelt met de lokale geschiedenis. Tijdens ons bezoek krijgen we de gelegenheid om de indrukwekkende buitenkant van het museum te bewonderen en door de charmante straatjes van Figueres te slenteren, die een unieke sfeer van creativiteit en kunst uitstralen. Belangrijke informatie over het Dalí Museum: De toegang tot het museum is niet inbegrepen bij de standaard rondleiding. Je kunt kiezen uit twee opties: - Optie inclusief toegang, waarbij wij uw toegang tot het museum garanderen. - Losse tickets kopen: U kunt tickets rechtstreeks via de website van het museum kopen. Reserveringen zijn mogelijk tussen 12:45 en 15:00 uur.
Cadaqués, een van de mooiste steden van Catalonië, ligt op het meest oostelijke punt van het Iberisch schiereiland, aan de kust van de Costa Brava. Met zijn witte huizen en geplaveide straatjes biedt het een vredige en pittoreske sfeer, ideaal om te verdwalen en te genieten van de unieke schoonheid. De stad, beroemd als de geboorteplaats van Salvador Dalí, blijft kunstenaars en reizigers inspireren met haar zeegezichten en heuvels.

Our guide Flavia was great. She throughly explained all the highlights of each stop. We would not have been able to see and truly appreciate as much on our own. I specially not in 1 day. She gave great recommendations and was very clear with our timing and meeting points. It was already a long day but we wish we could have had a bit more time in Girona and Figueres as there was so much to see in these two cities and it felt rushed. Cadaqués was quaint, charming, and very calming to stroll the old quarter and the boardwalk.

It’s a good overview of the three towns. I’m one day it is hard to really go in depth in any of them. Tour guide was very knowledgeable but I would have preferred more time that she was taking us around the towns. Bus was hot.

EXCEPTIONAL GUIDE: PAULINA!!! The tour would not have been as enjoyable without Paulina as a guide, we’re sure of it. She is not only very knowledgeable in history, art, culture and so much more, but she is also very skilled at communicating and presenting the information in a natural way, a smooth flow; she is funny and entertaining, so it doesn’t feel like a classroom. By a stroke of sheer luck, she was our guide on two totally unrelated tours, and we were so happy. All three locations on this tour are beautiful, we just wish there were more hours in the day to stay longer in each place.
