Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno & Gili Air Island: Snorkeldagtrip Vertrek vanuit Lombok

Reasonable tour overall. We only got around 25 mins in the water per each of the three locations we stopped at. Which doesn't sound like much and was less than stated in the advertised suggested itinerary, but it turned out to be enough. Keep your expectations in check for the statues: it's crowded and over quite quickly. I must say I have done equivalent tours in Thailand that were better and half the price per person of this one. But I suppose with a driver and harbour ferry included is not so bad. But beware: these guys are running a bit of a racket. I was a solo traveller and you cannot book for less than 2 people, despite the snorkelling component being a group tour. I would be happy paying a little premium for a solo traveller to make it worth the driver's while, but flat out double rate paying for a full two people is a bit rich. Especially considering those joining from Gili T paid around 1/3 of this online price.

Wawan was amazing, beginning with a prompt pickup and ensuring that my experience was 100% until dropoff. There was never a moment that I did not feel unsafe, uncertain of what was about to happen or that I was not in control of my experience. I had a BLAST seeing the Gili Meno statues, swimming with the sea turtles and seeing blue coral, as well as beach excursions, photo ops and shopping. Who could ask for more? I would not trade this experience and am happy to recommend Wawan again to all of my fellow travelers and friends.

I did this excursion with my partner... what to say nothing short of wonderful thanks to the wonders that the underwater world offers! Too bad it was all very quick and short ...

We had a wonderful day trip starting with pick up from the cruise terminal,Aziz was the only one willing to collect us so far from the departure point for th islands. Our driver was waiting and easy to locate. We were 2 couples and had the boat to ourselves with three crew to care for us which they did so well. The snorkeling was great fishs turtles underwater statues all the things promised, they took some great underwater film and photos for us. We were given the choice of destination for our late lunch so chose to return to the mainland and were taken to Sudamala 5 star resort for a terrific lunch a swim in their pool,such a dream spot would love to go back to stay a week..Aziz is a truely professional tour operator giving a very personalized experience They got us back to the ship with time to spare unlike some other late arrivals, lucky the captain waited for them You wont regret booking with Lombok Friendly tours & travel

Great experience I have a water phobia and haven't snorkled before. The conditions were great. The water was so clear. Actually swam with the turtles. They are literally right in front of your face. Plenty of bright coloured fish. The tour guides were fantastic, they would swim down deep to get photos for you and would point out turtles. Pretty cool to see the underwater sculptures. They make sure everyone was safe and stayed together.

We organised our day to the Gillis with Candra who I have used on a previous trip. Candra is very knowledgeable about all things Lombok. He picked us up from our hotel in Sengiggi and drove to the port. Here we boarded a boat with a crew and headed out to the gillis. The highlight of our day was swimming with the turtles. Loved having photos underwater on the motor bikes hahahaha We had lunch on Gilli T and found this to be busy but not rowdy. The waters we dived in were warm and clean and Candra did deliver and we saw some amazing colours of fish! Thanks Candra for your service

Snorkelling at Gili Meno was way too packed around the statues. The statues are man made and there was a flurry of tourists scrambling to take pictures and a boat traffic jam. I recommend that you go early or late in the day to see the statues. If you go during peak hour, keep your head up so you don't get run over by any boats! Other than that, the surf is gorgeous. We saw turtles off shore and coral. Unfortunately, some of the coral is losing colour. Even so, I do recommend snorkelling! It is worth the trip around the island exploring and soaking up the sun and sea.

Chandra is a knowledgeable and friendly guide. The snorkeling trip to all 3 islands was fun and Chandra even made a video of me snorkeling as a souvenir. Highly recommended!

I had no expectation as I booked this trip at the last minute. Thought it's going to be a group tour but ended up as one on one guided trip on public boat. I was guided by Suhardi all day long and picked up from Lombok, he's well mannered and knowledgeable about the sites we're going to. He also showed me best spots to find turtles and I ended up shooting next to one as it swam up to the surface. Didn't expect him to have GoPro with him either. And although it's stated as lunch is excluded, it turned out that the lunch ticket was given to me. So even though people might think it's pricey I feel like for the first timer like me going to Gili, it's worthed the price.

Here's what you can see while taking a walk they don't take care of their heritage helped even by a mass of rude tourists
