Event wordt de post afgeleverd per kano! Verken dit buitengewone waterdorp, dobber op de kleine grachten onder de lindebomen terwijl je luistert naar het enige geluid in de buurt: vogels. Bewonder de oude boerderijen, waarvan de rieten daken eeuwenoud zijn. Stromp onder de idyllische houten bruggen van dit pittoreske stadje, waardoor je je voelt alsof je in een ander tijdperk bent, in een andere wereld.

Elias was our tour guide and we really enjoyed our day with him. We found there to be the perfect blend of structure with the ability to still explore our particular interests. Even though the weather was not the best the views and sights were amazing and we enjoyed it being less busy. We felt very safe in the car when driving and leaving our belongings inside. Our guide had an amazing understanding of how everything worked and answered all of our questions! He also spoke to all the staff working at the places showing just how well he knows the area and the wonderful connections he has made. If we had more time we would definitely do another one with him!
Even with a drizzle day, we saw wonderful views and some extraordinary friends of our guide Younes. It was the extra service with the flexibility of our suggestions that made a Memorial Day in our tour of Giethoorn.
A private tour Of Giethoorn and Amsterdam with Younes as our tour guide was a memorable experience on this our World Cruise. The canal cruise on our own covered craft with skipper Joey was beautiful, even with the continuous drizzle rain, thus no traffic or noise other than the natural bird life. Plenty of opportunities to stop and wander around the various historical sites. Younes has the contacts, thus we visited the non-public rooms of Council offices and seeing the photos of the Royal Wedding held there. Younes went far beyond other tour guides to give us extra service, local knowledge and memories we will remember forever, including a selfie with the 3 of us in front an absolute stunning view of a city canal.
Younes picked us up at our hotel and made sure we had a wonderful day. Our request to see additional areas was accommodated cheerfully. The tour of Giethoorn was great. He even went out of his way to arrange transportation from our hotel to the cruise ship at the end of the day.
Younes was friendly and very service minded. He came early to pick us up. The scenery of Giethoorn was wonderful. It’s so peaceful and beautiful. We took 3 hours cruise the canal to enjoy Giethoorn by boat. Private tours are always the best way to go to get a customized tour. Would highly recommend working this tour and the others he offers.

Younes was the nicest and most accommodating tour guide. He picked us up in a luxury car. He took us to see the windmills, the inside of one too. We witnessed clog-making first-hand. Then we were taken to the magical land of Giethoorn, where we took a breathtaking boat ride while eating a delicious lunch onboard. He did not hesitate to take us on requested detours; and we even got to see the chambers of the former city hall of Amsterdam—a rare treat! He took amazing photos too. An unforgettable day, thank you!
