Tijdens onze populaire Gibraltar-tour kunt u Europa Point zien, ook wel bekend als de Zuilen van Hercules. Je bezoekt het natuurreservaat - waar de Barbarijse aap leeft. Een van de hoogtepunten van deze tour is je bezoek aan St. Michael's Cave en Princess Catherine's Battery voordat je de Tower of Homage van het Moorse kasteel ziet. We weven door tunnels met uw lokale professionele Engelssprekende gids naar Europa Point, dit is het meest zuidelijke punt van Gibraltar, het Britse territorium dat aansluit bij het Spaanse vasteland. Na de rots gaan we richting de Upper Rock en bezoeken we het populaire natuurreservaat, hier leven de beroemde berberapen. Hier kun je genieten van interactie met de 'Rock Apes'.
Daarna gaan we verder de St. Michael's Cave in. Deze prachtige kalkstenen grot ligt 300 meter boven zeeniveau. De akoestiek en de algemene setting van de grot creëren een perfecte setting voor evenementen of concerten. Vervolgens bezoeken we de dochter van koning George II, Princess Caroline's Battery. Dit werd in 1732 ontwikkeld. Het was vroeger een militair gebouw en hielp de Britse claim op Gibraltar te versterken. We bekijken vervolgens een oude Toren van Hommage bij het Moorse kasteel om de muren te zien die tijdens de belegeringsjaren zijn getekend door Spaanse kanonnen. Om de tour in stijl af te sluiten gaan we het centrum in voor wat belastingvrij winkelen. Deze tour vindt normaal gesproken plaats in kleine groepen en is de nummer één keuze voor cruiseliefhebbers bij het overzetten in Gibraltar.

A lot of fun. Erik was informative and funny. Got to see around the Rock. St Micheals cave was spectacular Got to see many monkeys on the way down the mtn.
The tour was advertised as a two and a half hour event; however, it wasn't quite two hours. The tour seemed very rushed with the driver explaining the highlights of the area while negotiating the tough driving conditions which didn't allow time to ask questions. The tour did cover the spots that were advertised in the Viator information.
Was a great trip as driver got us close to the entrance and exit of st Michael’s cave We opted to be dropped off in the city and got clear instructions throughout

Our tour of the Rock of Gibraltar and St. Michael’s Cave was unforgettable. From the top of the Rock, you can see the meeting point of the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea, the coastline of Spain, and even Morocco across the water on a clear day it honestly feels like standing at the edge of two continents. Inside St. Michael’s Cave, the huge limestone formations and glowing chambers were absolutely breathtaking and unlike anything we’ve ever seen. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip! Just a word of caution - Walking inside the cave is dark in places and a little slippery
The tour company did not communicate basic information about the tour such as start time. I made numerous attempts to communicate with no response. The day of the tour the guide showed up late a travelers were left wondering if the tour they paid for was a scam. The tour guide was not prepared with a list of passengers. The rock of Gibraltar is worth experiencing but with another tour company. Having used Viator many times with positive experiences was surprised they would contract with such a bad tour company.
St. Michael's cave was incredibly beautiful, know that you will be walking around a damp, dark area but it was so worth if. Found some of the monkeys, listen to your guide they definitely know where to find them and the things you should do to stay safe. Our guide let us off at the old city so we could explore some and before walking back to the ship
The tour guide Peter was great, however the tour seemed quite rushed and was only about 1 1/2 hours as we left about 30 min late and got back at 2:25.
We had a fantastic guy that had a sense of humor, amazing driving skills, and his knowledge and history of the city was fabulous
The tour was longer than planned, but not in a bad way, as we got to see the tunnels in the rock of Gibraltar, which were not listed in the description. Good value for seeing the main features of the rock, though I would have liked to see more of the monkeys. Great value compared to an equivalent sure excursions.
