De bisschoppelijke kerk van St. Paul is overdag misschien een plaats van aanbidding, maar als de avond valt, vertellen de schaduwrijke begraafplaats en de stormachtige muren een donkerder verhaal. Vervloekt, griezelig en gehuld in mysterie zit Robert the Doll achter glas in Key West, maar laat je niet misleiden. De lokale bevolking fluistert dat hij beweegt, uitdrukkingen verandert en zelfs ongeluk veroorzaakt bij degenen die hem bespotten. Met knoopogen en een matrozenpak ziet hij er misschien onschuldig uit, maar de legende zegt dat hij allesbehalve is. Als je te dichtbij komt, voel je hem misschien kijken...
Onder het weelderige bladerdak van de tropische tuinen van Key West bevindt zich het elegante en toch griezelige Audubon House, waar fluisteringen uit het verleden nog steeds blijven hangen. Spookfiguren zouden door de gangen dwalen, liften bewegen vanzelf en gefluister weerklinkt in lege kamers. Als je te lang blijft, word je misschien deel van de legende.
Achter de prachtige gevel, Marrero's Guest Mansion heeft huiveringwekkende geheimen. Gebouwd door een rouwende man voor zijn verloren liefde, sommigen zeggen dat haar geest nooit is vertrokken. Gasten melden koude plekken, flikkerende lichten en het gevoel bekeken te worden. Romantisch... of behekst? Jij beslist. Maar pas op – als je eenmaal blijft, willen de geesten misschien nooit meer dat je vertrekt.

We had such a great experience on the walking ghost tour in Key West, with Rich! I was very disappointed in this Ghost Tour. We have taken many Ghost Tours in various cities including one in Key West several years ago. The guides are almost always actors or people with a dramatic flair about them. Our guide this time was stationed in the Navy nearby. His story telling ability was greatly lacking with no dramatic flair. The stories were too long and told in a monotonous tone. He also talked a lot while walking backwards where only the people at the front of the group could hear him. Also when he was a telling a story, he paced back and forth. Very distracting. We left the tour about halfway through.
