Bezoek een Nubian Village-gemeenschap op Sohail Island tijdens een 5-uur durende, kleine groepstour vanuit Aswan met een transfer van en naar het hotel of cruiseschip, een boottocht en thee in een traditioneel Nubisch huis. Reis langs Elephantine Island op een felucca-zeilboot of in een moderne motorboot, leer over de lokale cultuur en geschiedenis en geniet van de vrije tijd om Sohail Island op eigen houtje te verkennen. Deze tour met kleine groepen is beperkt tot 15 personen voor een persoonlijke ervaring.

Begin met ophalen bij uw centraal gelegen hotel of cruiseschip door onze vertegenwoordiger om uw tour te beginnen om Nubian Village te bezoeken. Stap over op een steiger aan de Nijl, waar je aan boord gaat van een boot naar West Sohail. Afhankelijk van riviercondities en het weer, reis je in een traditionele feloekzeilboot, of in een moderne motorboot. Geniet van het uitzicht op de oevers van de Nijl op weg naar het westen van Sohail, langs Elephantine Island langs de weg. Van boord gaan op West Sohail. en bezoek een traditioneel Nubisch huis om te leren over de geschiedenis en cultuur van de Nubische bevolking met een glas welkomstthee. Na je tijd in het huis maak je een wandeling om het Nubische dorp alleen te verkennen, een wandeling te maken door felgekleurde dorpen en te praten met de lokale bevolking. Aan het einde tref je een back-up aan de steiger van de boot, waar je begint aan de terugreis naar Aswan. Deze tour is inclusief bij aflevering bij je hotel of cruiseschip.
Begin met ophalen bij uw centraal gelegen hotel of cruiseschip vóór 14.30 uur: het exacte tijdstip van vertrek is afhankelijk van uw locatie en wordt na boeking bevestigd door de lokale leverancier. Transfer naar een steiger aan de Nijl, waar je aan boord gaat van een boot naar Sohail Island. Afhankelijk van de rivieromstandigheden en het weer, zul je varen in een traditionele felucca-zeilboot of in een moderne motorboot. Geniet van het uitzicht op de oevers van de Nijl op weg naar Sohail Island en passeer onderweg Elephantine Island. Stap uit op Sohail Island en bezoek een traditioneel Nubisch huis om meer te weten te komen over de geschiedenis en cultuur van het Nubische volk met een glas welkomstthee. Na uw tijd in het huis kunt u een wandeling maken om het eiland zelf te verkennen, slenteren door helder beschilderde dorpen en chatten met de lokale bevolking. Aan het einde van de middag ontmoeten we elkaar weer bij de aanlegsteiger, waar je aan de terugreis naar Aswan begint. Deze tour eindigt met drop-off bij uw hotel of cruiseschip om ongeveer 17:30 uur.

This trip was absolutely amazing!! Alaaedine went above and beyond to make sure we had the best time. He was so friendly and accommodating. He took us on a sunset Nile cruise which was magical and we had tea in a traditional Nubian family home. He then took us into downtown Aswan and showed us around the souks. Would recommend this to anyone who wants a good mix of sights to see in Aswan!

We had a great time with Ahmed on our Nubian excursion. We had a great boat ride thru Nile to the village followed by Nubian house overview. The main attraction was the pet crocodiles. I recommend this activity if you have leisure time.

Guide Mohamed (Mo) was incredible, answering all my doubts and helped me with the photos! She also made sure to meet my expectations as at the end, she was not satisfied with the tour and was very efficient and friendly to try to resolve.

Ahmed was so wonderful today and made sure we made the most of our time. We had a great day, he went out of his way to help us from start to finish and really made the effort to get my two year old to enjoy herself too. Really glad we went!

Mo took me on a fascinating trip to the Nubian island. It was like sailing away to a far and distant land of an ancient culture, but without the distance! Mo taught me all about Nubian life,m, and he patiently took many great pictures on my phone! Mo is a great guide!

Our tour to the Nubian Village was spectacular. Our tour guide Marwa was very welcoming, polite, professional and knowledgeable. She suggested we take the tour during the beginning of sunset on a private boat which turned out being perfect. She shared many good facts, history about the culture Aswan, Nubia and Egypt. We even learned a little bit of common Arabic phrases which was a nice touch. To end the tour, she brought us to an amazing Nubian restaurant with the best authentic food. I still can’t stop thinking about how good the food was! Overall a good tour, with a great tour guide. Than you Marwa!

What an amazing time ! I had Nermien as a guide, who is just lovely ! I was very happy to have an Egyptian woman, with whom I exchanged a lot, on various subjects. It helped me to connect and understand the local culture better. She was patient and caring. She was happy to have a chat when I wanted to, or simply let me enjoy a nap on the boat. We had amazing local food at a typical Nubian house. (On top of that, great price price for the trip!) I strongly recommend it.
