De uitgestrekte Praagse Burcht is een oud symbool van de Tsjechische landen en is een van de belangrijkste culturele instellingen in Tsjechië. De geschiedenis van de Praagse Burcht gaat terug tot de 9e eeuw. In de loop der jaren is het de thuisbasis geweest van de koningen van Bohemen, de Heilige Roomse keizers en de presidenten van Tsjecho-Slowakije en Tsjechië.
U ziet het historische oude koninklijke paleis met zijn grote Vladislav-zaal, middeleeuwse gotische en renaissance-interieurs, indrukwekkende gewelfde plafonds en kamers waar Tsjechische koningen ooit heersten. U verkent oude kamers, koninklijke zalen en prachtige architectonische details.
U ziet een van de oudste kerken van Praag met prachtige Romaanse interieurs, stenen zuilen, rustige kapellen en oude muurschilderingen. U zult de eenvoudige maar krachtige architectuur en een rustige, spirituele sfeer bewonderen.
U ziet de charmante Golden Lane met zijn kleine kleurrijke huizen, middeleeuwse werkplaatsen en historische displays die het dagelijks leven op het kasteel laten zien. Je bezoekt de Daliborka Tower, een voormalige gevangenis met donkere stenen kamers en verhalen van legendarische gevangenen.
U ziet een prachtige gotische kathedraal met kleurrijke glas-in-loodramen, koninklijke graven, sierlijke kapellen en het indrukwekkende hoofdaltaar. U zult hoge gewelfde plafonds, gedetailleerde stenen beeldhouwwerken en de beroemde St. Wenceslaskapel bewonderen.

Overall the Castle tour is excellent and the ticket entry is easy. However, the e-guide requires mobile data and there is zero wifi anywhere in the castle. The emails from the tour operator are sent via TripAdvisor and are very confusing. As a result, we were not able to fully utilize the audio e-guide.

although a very rude ticket seller, not fit for her job, and the huge crowds almost ruined the whole experience, all in all we spent a very enjoyable, historical riddled couple of hours at the castle compounds.

We took the Prague Castle Get&Go self guided tour, our ticket included Entrance to St.Vitus Cathedral, Entrance to the Old Royal Palace, St.Georges Basilica, and Golden Lane. All these attractions were very good but the highlight was the “Changing of the Guard” which occurred at 12;00, the Audio Guide (on our mobiles) was ok, the content was good but the navigation of the guide was problematic. Overall a good day

It's a must-see in Prague. Although it can be done by Free Tour but thus you can enter the most important buildings. There is an initial explanation of approx. 20 minutes in several languages (English, Spanish, French, German,...) and then already the visit is free with an audio guide. There are 4 places to enter. The only bad thing about the visit was the long queues to get to the 4 sites. Not to miss the changing of the guard at 12:00, although it was also crowded.

I had a wonderful visit! Getting the ticket was quick and easy. The Cathedral is very impressive. The extra discount vouchers were a great bonus, and we discovered the Minorite Friary — a beautiful and peaceful place I really loved. Overall, it is a fantastic experience for anyone visiting Prague Castle.
