Ervaar een wandeltocht door het historische Vieux Carre, de oudste sector van New Orleans, waarbij het 300-jarig bestaan, de architectuur en cultuur worden besproken. Verken charmante straten in de Franse wijk. Intrigerende architectonische kenmerken, elegante smeedijzeren balkons, galerijen en enkele van de oudste bouwwerken in de Verenigde Staten. Onze deskundige Gids zal de verleidelijke cultuur van de stad en drie eeuwen boeiende geschiedenis uitleggen. Als u voor de optie kiest, sluit u uw tour af met Sugar Dusted Beignets en Cafe au Lait in het wereldberoemde Cafe Du Monde. Cafe du Monde is op uw gemak. De tijden verschillen per locatie.

Ervaar een gedenkwaardige, 1,5 uur durende wandeltocht in een van de oudste gemeenschappen in de Verenigde Staten: de historische Vieux Carre, beter bekend als de Franse wijk, in New Orleans. Volledige ervaring ongeveer 2 uur
De tour begint bij de trappen van de St. Louis Cathedral op Jackson Square.
De Franse Markt bestaat uit verschillende loodsen. Elk vertegenwoordigen iets anders en herbergen een verscheidenheid aan verkopers, restaurants en winkels.
Tegenwoordig biedt de French Quarter een spannend beeld van de historische grootsheid van New Orleans met zijn smalle straatjes, Franse en Spaanse architectuur en de oudste kathedraal en appartementsgebouwen van Amerika. Binnenplaatsen, patio's, intrigerende steegjes, artiesten, muzikanten op elke hoek, openluchtmarkten en een breed scala aan internationaal bekende restaurants maken de French Quarter tot het hart van New Orleans!
De naam is nu Oscar Dunn Park. Het is een weids uitzicht op de rivier de Mississippi , kijkt uit over Jackson Square en een hoog punt uitzicht op de Franse wijk
Sluit af met een optioneel heerlijk ontbijt met beignets en café au lait in het eigen Cafe Du Monde in New Orleans.

This was an excellent tour with Jonn as our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about New Orleans history and very informative. My family enjoyed ourselves and learned a great deal about the city and we especially loved the visit to Cafe Du Monde at the end.

Jonn was very informative & worked hard to keep our group engaged in very hot temperatures! The beignets were also wonderful
We had an amazing time on our New Orleans food tour! Susan did a fantastic job bringing the city to life with her knowledge of the history, culture, and unique character of each neighborhood we visited. The food was absolutely delicious, and every stop felt thoughtfully chosen. Susan’s passion for New Orleans really shined through and made the experience feel much more personal than just a food tour. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to experience the flavors and soul of the city!
We loved this tour from top to bottom. Great food, great scenery and great explanations throughout. Susan, our guide, excels at her job. She had engaging, thorough and thoughtful explanations of all the sights we were walking through and food we were eating. Would highly recommend this tour and especially Susan!
Love the coffee and beniget a must visit. There was no fee to get in. We went on a tour bus of New Orleans and it was part of the tour. We stayed for about 15-20 minutes. Open and airy plenty of seating. Lots of people. The staff was nice. The coffee is delicious. They're known for their benigts.
Wonderful guide we had, Lauren, such a nice woman, informative and delicious, about 2 hours, little on the pricey side but BEST value for money considering you get four mini meals!
Great tour by our tour guide Kristi she did a wonderful job of walking us through town and explaining the history of New Orleans. She made the trip enjoyable and personal and we really felt well about what we had learned. Highly recommend her for everyone.!
We booked this Tour to learn more about the history of New Orleans and the French Quarter. Jonn, our guide, gave us an incredibly insightful look into both the past and the present of these historic places. Every house and every corner has its own story and secrets, and Jonn knows them all. This tour was one of the most exciting and interesting I’ve ever experienced. The time flew by far too quickly as our small group strolled through the historic alleys. The visit to Cafe Du Monde at the end, with its delicious beignets, was unforgettable. A big thank you to our guide and Destination-Kitchen for making this special experience possible for me. The tour was more than worth of the price. I’d love to do it again on another occasion!

Our tour guide Jonn was the absolute best! He is beyond knowledgeable about everything in the French Quarters! He takes his time to explain the facts, the sites, and every detail, which is so appreciated especially when traveling to a new destination. Getting to learn the French quarters and its history was amazing and we were truly taught by the best! Thanks to Jonn!! Our wonderful tour guide and an expert in anything/everything historical. Jonn made this trip very memorable for us with his quick witt, funny jokes and charisma! We can’t begin to thank him enough! He gives the best tours!
