Zach was our tour guide and he was absolutely amazing! Throughout the coffee tour he provided us with detailed lessons on coffee; the roasting and harvesting process, the origins of coffee, and the types of coffee made available. We were also given a lesson on fair trade coffee and how to look for it when we shop. Zach also provided mini history lessons for a few locations we visited like the original Starbucks, Gum Wall, and Ghost Alley. We had four cups of coffee, tasted a cinnamon roll, and got a bean sample— all included in our tour! I will definitely be back, it’s a great experience for coffee lovers, tourists, and locals.

We got some great samples for our money, and got to learn more about the Pike place market as a whole, which felt like a bonus. We had a very good time on this tour! It was only the two of us, so it felt like a private tour. Our tour guide, Zack, was knowledgeable, friendly, and flexible. The coffee shops we stopped at represented a nice variety of coffee drinks, and Zack’s commentary as we sipped our drinks was instructive and entertaining. In addition to teaching us about the coffee growing and roasting process, he mentioned interesting historical events in the area. The tour lasted just about the right amount of time, and we never felt crowded or rushed.

We loved this tour as a coffee junkies! Our guide Zach was knowledgeable about the coffee making process, he was extremely courteous when we accidentally went to the wrong location and made our tour very enjoyable with facts about the city. This was my first time in seattle and I enjoyed walking from coffee shop to coffee shop enjoying the winding roads and experiencing different flavors. Ghost Alley was our favorite and it’s lucky we had the opportunity to experience the tour after the Starbucks roasters was unexpectedly closed. No other sites were offering a coffee tour and I trust visiting with Viator so this made everything perfect!
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience! It’s fantastic to hear that Zach made your tour enjoyable, even when the Starbucks Roasters were unexpectedly closed. We’ll be sure to pass along your compliments. We’re delighted you loved walking through Seattle’s winding streets and tasting different coffees, and we hope to see you again for more memorable tours!
