Tom Van Damme was an excellent guide. He was informative, personable, and welcoming. We appreciated his knowledge of the history and culture as well. Most importantly, we tasted the best chocolate we’ve had in our lives!
Hey Rebecca, glad to see that you enjoyed your private tour in Ghent with Tom! 🤩🤩🤩
Mandy was an excellent guide, made us feel comfortable from the start of the tour plus she spoke very good English. We visited many chocolate shops and tasted some amazing chocolates all of these stores were different. Along the way Mandy shared her love of Ghent with some history and amusing stories. Would highly recommend this tour. Ghent is a beautiful place to visit.
Wow! Thank you for the great feedback!
Yummy chocolate, but very expensive tour for the few pieces of chocolate you try. Would also suggest a midway bathroom break at a specific location as we had to buy food at a store to use the bathroom
Our guide Vera did an amazing job guiding us through a wide variety of chocolatiers and candy shops. We enjoyed everything that we tasted at each unique location. Each shop was very accommodating with my son who has a nut allergy, which was very much appreciated!! We left this tour with a thorough knowledge of the city and a tummy full of amazing chocolates! I highly recommend this tour for families!
What a pleasure to read! We always adapt our tours to our customers, so we love that you mention this in your review! Kind regards from Ghent
The tour booked with Vera was for a teambuilding with colleagues - and it was highly appreciated by all! Vera was friendly, animated, knowledgeable and funny, everything needed to keep you hanging on to her words with attention! The quirky information shared about Ghent is not the kind to be found in a city guide, and the different chocolates tasted were delicious and...sometimes quite surprising! ;) Highly recommended, no excessive walking required and perfect with regards to quality and price. :) Thank you, Vera and Charlie Tours!
What a pleasure to read! 🙏🙏🙏
The tour was great! We received a ton of information about the city as well as the types of chocolate. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone going to Ghent.
Thank you William for the review. Much appreciated! Kind regards from Ghent, Nick.
Excellent tour with Vera! Chocolate tasting as well as interesting facts included in the tour! Vera was a wonderful guide!
Hey Veronica, thank you for the great review! 🤗🤗🤗
One of the highlights of our trip - great tasting chocolate paired with some history of the area. Our kids loved it too.
Hey Steven, it was a pleasure meeting your family & introducing you to my city & the delicious sweets. Thanks a lot for the review,
Not a big fan of guided tours, but this was a great experience. Much more personal and individualistic. Worth every minute. Nick rocked!
Thanks Jordan! :-)
I love the knowledge and pride our guide took in the city. It made the tour so worth it. It was worth the time.
Impossible not to be proud when born in Ghent :-) Thank you for the great review Veronica!
