Begint om 02.30 uur. Onze agent haalt u op bij uw hotel in Luxor. Rijd comfortabel naar het treinstation van Luxor (de trein doet er ongeveer 3 uur over om van Luxor naar Aswan te komen) Neem een PRIVÉ-voertuig met airconditioning vanuit Aswan (het duurt ongeveer 3 en een half uur rijden vanuit Aswan om Abu Simbel te bereiken). De twee tempels van Abu Simbel worden met hun unieke stijl beschouwd als de meesterwerken van het oude Egypte. Ze weerspiegelen de glorie en grootsheid van het nieuwe koninkrijk. De Egyptische regering en UNESCO besloten samen te werken om deze tempels van de overstroming te redden. De Tempel van Ramsses II was gewijd aan de vier universele goden Ptah, Re-Her-Akhtey, Amun-Re en aan Ramsses II zelf. De grote tempel van Abu Simbel wordt ook wel de Zonnetempel van Ramssess II genoemd. De Tempel van Koningin Nefertari wordt ook wel Tempel van Hathor genoemd, die op symbolische wijze de vrouw was van de Zonnegod. Breng daar ongeveer 2 uur door en neem vervolgens dezelfde weg met de trein terug naar Luxor rond 20.00 uur. Aankomst veilig in het Luxor hotel

The experience at Abu Simbel Temple is incredible and, although tiring, it is worth it. The tour operators Mona, Cucu and Amr offered an experience organized in every detail: from the hotel pick up to the drop off, without leaving any aspect aside. The lunch... Delicious!!! The experience is long, but the journey to Abu Simbel and back to Luxor is comfortable. Both the temples and the place itself are incredible. Absolutely recommended! Thanks again Mona, Cucu, and Amr for organizing everything and for the time spent together.
We had a great time in Abu Simbel thanks to Seif and his team. It was a very long but comfortable journey, 6 each way (3 hr by train and 3 hr by car), but your every step will be accompanied by someone so there is no chance you will get lost during travel. I cannot recommend the driver enough. The car was nice, clean, and air conditioned. The driver, whose name I regrettably did not get, went out of his way to make our ride super comfortable. He took care to slow down for bumps in the road and made safety our priority. We also made pit stops for snacks and bathroom breaks. Once we got to Abu Simbel, we were greeted by our guide Waleed. He gave a very good overview of both temples and even showed us pictures of how the temples were moved due to the construction of the Aswan dam. Know that there was not much to explore and you will probably spend 2 hr max in Abu Simbel, but the exterior statues and the interiors of the temples more than made up for it. The sights were striking and impressive... you will not forget your experience.
The overall trip was long but good except for the train ride which was comfortable but delayed by an hour and a half (we left only at 4.30am.. so maybe the car option would have been better) The train was delayed by one hour but the tour company made sure we were accompanied the entire time and stayed with us until we were seated and they picked us up on the way back as well.. making it quite a seamless trip, would recommend. The driver, Hani, was excellent would highly recommend. The car was very comfortable (new) and the driving was smooth and we felt very safe and he made up for the time lost on the train journey. He was friendly and answered all our questions while we drove giving us insight into the history of the general area and the route we took. We were running late but he got back in time for lunch and the train. The guide, Hani were very good, he gave us enough time to explore and even though he wasn’t able to enter the temple with us, he shared a lot of pictures of what we will see and took the time to explain the history behind each of them. Highly recommend
Had a great day visiting the Abu Simbel temples, Star our contact made sure all the arrangements were in place for safe journey to Abu Simbel. Be prepared for a very long day though, Abu Simbel is over 100km from Luxor and it is very tiring - well worth seeing though - if taking the train option, 1st class is a lot different to what 1st class is in the UK
Abu simbel is a must see but everything offered was no fulfilled... I bought my own ticket to enter, I bought food for my family because we're vegetarian and IT IS NOT 1ST CLASS TRAIN!
A long but rewarding and enjoyable day. Abu Simbel was amazing as was Seif and his team. The tour was seemless. Star, Seif, Mido, Omar and the 2 guys who drove us all the way from Aswan to Abu Simbel and back! we’re awesome. All the arrangements went off without a hitch and we were very well looked after. Lots of laughs on the road with the guys who drove the van and our guide, Walid, at Abu Simbel was fantastic. It was a long trek but worth it and made so much easier by the team. We were very well looked after with great communication.
A long but enjoyable day. Very well looked after by Star, Mido, Omar and the guys who drove us all the way to Abu Simbel. They picked us up and put us in the train to Aswan. Omar met us at Aswan and the 2 guys took us to the amazing Abu Simbel where we were very well guided by Walid. The guys drove us all the way back to Aswan with plenty of laughs. Met up again with Omar who took us for a delicious lunch and put us back in the train the Luxor where we were met by Mido. Great communication, everything ran very smoothly and it was good fun. We were very well looked after.
The experience was fascinating. The Midoo host arranged the whole trip in sync which went perfectly. The truth was a wonderful experience, and best of all without any setbacks. I recommend this Enterprise and its excellent host. They can also lose help to Midoo if they need another tour such as going to the Valley of the Kings or pick up or take to the airport, he is a very attentive boy and is always willing to help you.
