Het is een tour gevuld met de klassiekers van Nara. Tijdens een rondleiding wordt de tijd die u besteedt aan het bekijken van een reisgids, het zoeken op uw smartphone en het controleren van plaatsen op een kaart, allemaal besteed aan sightseeing. Van geschiedenis tot fotoplekken, geniet van de begeleiding van een gids die van Nara houdt. De tour duurt ongeveer 3 uur, dus je hebt genoeg tijd om na de tour zelf op verkenning te gaan. *Deze tour is geen privétour. *Omdat het een groepsreis is, vertrekken we stipt. Als u te laat bent voor de vergadertijd, kunt u niet deelnemen aan de rondleiding, ongeacht of u al dan niet contact met ons heeft opgenomen.

We ontmoeten elkaar voor de ticketpoort op JR Nara Station. Er is slechts één ticketpoort. Je gids wacht op je met een witte NaraWalk-vlag in de hand.
De gids zal je met je gids door het gebied van het hert leiden en uitleggen waarom er herten in Nara zijn en de verschillen tussen het boeddhisme en het shinto.
Bezoek de Great Buddha Hall. Je gids zal Boeddhabeelden en geschiedenis uitleggen. Fotoplek.
Todai-ji, Kasuga-taisha en Kofuku-ji bevinden zich allemaal in Nara Park. Afhankelijk van het seizoen en de voortgang van de groep worden ook extra plekken in het Nara Parkgebied bezocht.
Vaak is de Kofuku-ji-tempel het eindpunt van de tour.De vijf verdiepingen tellende pagode is een geweldige plek voor foto's.Nadat we u over de geschiedenis hebben verteld, laten we u ook zien hoe u terugkomt naar het station en waar u kunt lunchen. (*Van juni tot september is een hitteberoerte alleen een risico op drie locaties: het Kasuga Taisha-heiligdom, het Nara-park en de Todaiji-tempel.)Als het weer geschikt is om te wandelen, gaan we naar de Kofuku-ji Tempel. ) (*De vijf verdiepingen tellende pagode van de Kofuku-ji-tempel wordt tot maart 2031 gerenoveerd.Tijdens de reparatiewerkzaamheden is de toren gesloten voor bezoekers. )

- Als je aankomt op Kintetsu Nara Station, kom dan naar JR Nara Station. Het is geen privétour, het is een bus vanaf JR Nara Station, dus je kunt niet afspreken op Kintetsu Nara Station.

Setsuko was wonderful! Very kind, friendly, and enthusiastic. She was full of info about the deer and temples at Nara Park. And she showed us helpful photos to explain things. She gave us deer crackers so we could feed the deer. And as a bonus, she showed us the Noh theater, beautiful Japanese garden, and mochi shop where they make the mochi fresh by hand. We really enjoyed our walking tour with Setsuko and another family. She met us right in Nara JR Station as promised after we took a 45 min train ride from Osaka. We all took a bus to Nara Park and then walked to the various site. While flowers and trees are not blooming in June, it was still very beautiful with trees and nature and of course the bowing deer! Our guide Setsuko brought some rice crackers for us to feed the deer. They did not disappoint. We appreciate the insight provided by our very thoughtful guide. We found 3 hours was perfect for us and highly recommend this tour.

Tour guide did well and knows her subject! Tour was interesting but a bit long due to the very warm weather. I would not want to do this tour in the summer!

Amazing day at Nara park! We spent about 3 hours and our Guide Seiko was great! She was super prepared with pictures and explanations of all the sites. It was a very hot day so 3 hours there was perfect. Seiko even helped us with directions on our return train. Very appreciative of her knowledge and attentiveness! I don’t think our day would have been as easy without this tour - which I highly recommend!

First of all if you book this tour and you're fortunate enough to get Seiko as your tour guide you should consider yourself LUCKY! She was amazing and made this tour so special with her knowledge, insight, mastery of english, sense of humor and preparation. From guiding us, to having various visual aids that helped expand insight into what we were looking at to even being as thoughtful as to have little baggies for us to put our 'Deer Crackers' in, she made this tour perfect.
