Beautiful experience with a tasting of 4 wines and excellent food. The hostess spoke to us in Spanish as well. Nice view, nice place, highly recommended. We are going to do it again. ANIMA LATINA
Really a great experience. Friendly and very knowledgeable staff, tasteful and welcoming environment. Excellent tasting and an unexpected discovery... the White Orange!
A wonderful experience at the Tili winery in Assisi! Outdoor tasting with a view of the valley, a setting that alone is worth the trip. The organic wines were a revelation: elegant, authentic, with a distinctly Umbrian character. Professionalism, warmth, and a great love for the area. We will definitely return.
There are places where you enter as visitors and leave as friends. Annalaura's winery, nestled among the vineyards on the hills of Assisi, is one of these. Annalaura, the owner, welcomed us with a rare naturalness. Not a commercial presentation, but a real conversation: anecdotes, curiosities, laughter. He guided us through his organic labels, explaining each choice with authentic expertise, and we found ourselves exchanging pairing tips as if we had known each other for years. The wines are excellent: deep, with a personality that clearly tells the story of the Umbrian territory. The proposed pairings were precise and never trivial. The staff is knowledgeable and attentive, in line with the spirit of the winery. If you are in the Assisi area and love wine or even just things made with care, this winery is a must-visit. You go to taste and you return to stay.
With some friends, we decided to have a tasting at this winery during open wineries. It was the best decision possible! The location is beautiful, nestled among the vineyards and has a magnificent view of the Assisi valley. The staff was very kind and explained each wine, answering our questions. The owner came to greet us personally and we talked about our recent travels. The wines were excellent and perfectly paired with mixed bruschetta and typical Umbrian products. We also purchased some bottles to share with our friends. We will definitely return with other friends to repeat the experience!
Charming place, a view overlooking the vineyards and the green heart of Italy; here, the word BIO is imperative. Exceptional wines, delicious tasting, kind, available, and qualified staff..! Fantastic initiatives proposed..! In short, if you want to take a moment to disconnect from the frenzy of the modern world, you are in the right place. Congratulations..!
Fantastic wine tasting and breathtaking view! Unforgettable experience!!!
We selected this vineyard. based on the all of the wonderful reviews on Trip Advisor. There were 6 adults in our group and we were so disappointed. The wines were not what we were expecting. They were all very disappointing. The cheese and salami items were the star. Our server just basically poured wine, gave us a minute description of the wine and then moved on. She didn't explain the process of how wines are produced at the vineyard, why it is special, etc. We tasted really sweet wines, an orange wine was presented and she stated either you will like it or hate it. Not one of us liked it, actually not one of us enjoyed any of the wines. Note to others.... there are much better tasting rooms and wines in Umbria. Don't waste your money or precious vacation time by going here.
Dear Donna, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience — we genuinely read every review, and yours gave us the opportunity to reflect. We must admit it leaves us a little puzzled, as we are fortunate to receive an overwhelming number of enthusiastic reviews from guests who are often captivated by the setting — the open countryside of Umbria, the vineyard views, the stillness of the hills. We hope you had at least a moment to take that in. Regarding the tasting itself: the experience you booked is designed to be an enjoyable, relaxed introduction to our wines — grape varieties, aromas, food pairings — shared in a friendly and accessible way, without diving too deep into technical production details. We deliberately keep it that way so it feels like a conversation rather than a lecture. For guests who want to go deeper into the winemaking process, the cellar, the vineyard work — that's what our Winemaker for a Day experience is for. That said, our team is always happy to answer any questions you might have had — you only needed to ask! On the Riserva: we're sorry it wasn't available for you to taste. It's a wine we don't produce every year, and even when we do, it's in very limited quantities. The current vintage is still resting in oak — it needs time, and we won't rush it. We were also a little surprised to read that the wines tasted sweet — all the wines included in your tasting are dry. That said, we understand the perception: as a certified organic winery, we never add chemicals to adjust acidity or alter the wine's natural profile. Varieties like our Grechetto are naturally lower in acidity, and without artificial corrections, some guests may perceive them as rounder or softer than expected. We always explain this during the tasting, and we think it's actually something to be proud of — what you taste is exactly what the vineyard gives us, nothing more. We hope your time in Umbria was wonderful overall, and we'd love the chance to welcome you back for a different kind of visit. Warm regards, Cantina Tili
