Come early in the summer. Wear comfortable clothing and shoes. Arrive with an open attitude to enjoy history and the beautiful, beautiful gardens. A lovely time awaits.
Marina was positively WONDERFUL! So knowledgeable about the Castle Grounds & Gardens. She was so sweet. She offered many opportunities to take photos for us with our own phones. Gave the best photo op recommendations. Very lovely tour and experience. 10/10 recommend!

Guide was lovely, upbeat and knowledgeable. We gave it 3 stars because we questioned the value. We had to take a cab to Blarney from Cork. We could have entered the park on our own. I wonder whether one really needs a guide there unless they provided bus transportation and gave us more information on the area.

Maryka? Was an EXCELLENT guide. She had great visuals throughout the tour to help enhance what we were seeing giving us an even better understanding of what life would have looked like during specific time periods. We spent a very enjoyable morning with Ann, our charming, knowledgeable, and funny guide. She brought the history of Blarney Castle and the surrounding grounds to life with fascinating stories and humor. Her enthusiasm and insight made the tour both engaging and memorable. I hold no ill will that I didn’t win her bag of Taytos.
Our tour guide was amazing. Ann provided so much personal history as well as Irish and castle history.. Well worth it.
