Zanzibar is een geweldige plek om te winkelen en te onderhandelen. Je zult onvermijdelijk de vreemde asbak tegenkomen die uit een kokosnoot is gehouwen, maar er zijn genoeg lokale kunst en kunstnijverheid om een hele koffer te vullen met smaakvolle souvenirs! Tijdens deze tour van een halve dag begeleidt je gids je naar lokale winkels in de stad vanaf de kanga-bazaar, waar je spreuken kunt lezen die op kanga-doek zijn gedrukt en leren om op traditionele wijze een kanga in te pakken. Daarna volgt een bezoek aan de werkplaats voor het maken van lederen sandalen die sinds 1976 sandalen levert aan het eiland, waarna je verder gaat naar SASIK, een van de meest succesvolle vrouwencoöperaties in Zanzibar, om de handwerksters te bekijken met de hand. borduur uitgebreide kussenhoezen en wandkleden.

I would like to make positive comment but I am unable to do so as they didn't show up. My husband and I WAITED FOR 2 AND A HALF HOURS. The advertised phone number was not answered despite several attempts from myself and the hotel staff. I tried messaging via Facebook and Whatsapp to no avail.
