This is a very enjoyable and exciting tour that covers secret places (hidden doors, restaurants and more) as well as major landmarks (Raffles, photo with MBS backdrop etc). We loved riding through the streets on kick scooters and stopping frequently to listen to Ping explain the history and stories about the places that we were seeing. Ping is an intelligent, witty, friendly, kind and expert guide and she makes the evening so much fun. My teenagers loved the scooting and stayed up the front with Ping and I was still able to keep up. The scooting is mostly on pedestrian paths, with a couple of times that we had to go on or across a road, but this always felt very safe. We went into places that I would not have known that we could go into without Ping’s gentle encouragement, such as a Hindu temple and I’m so glad we didn’t miss this. This tour also includes dinner at a local restaurant with delicious, classic Singaporean chicken and rice and a soft drink. This tour is rich in stories and culture and covers everything (and more) that much more expensive tours offer. Highly recommend!
Ping was the best! Had a great time going around the city and learning about their culture!! Food was so good, and the stories were even better
Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore Singapore in an active and fun way. Five stars all the way!
It's absolutely worth it to try On-A-Roll-Tours! It was my first experience to get around the city on kick scooter 🛴 Very pleasant and quick way to explore and see more. Ping was very knowledgeable and she showed many of the surprising and hidden places which would be a bit harder to discover in a conventional way. We also tried some traditional food on the way. If you don't have too much time and still would like to see as much as possible then I highly recommend this type of tour with lovely Ping. Great adventure and fun! 😎
Ping was EXCELLENT! She is a great storyteller and has so much knowledge about beautiful Singapore. We saw so many monuments and got lots of exercise! :) We had a traditional chicken and rice dinner plus a stop for dessert. Ping also provided us with photos to come more the experience. We really enjoyed ourselves. Thank you Ping!
Singapore is an exciting place to visit! I had been there before and was happy to return. There are so many wonderful places to visit. Litle Inndia, Chinatown, the Botanical Gardens with their amazing orchid garden, Marina Bay Sands hotel, Raffles Hotel (for a Singapore Sling!) and many more. A must is seeing Singapore at night either with a boat ride or going to the top of Marina Bay Sands. An all around wonderful experience. Plan at least three to four full days there.
We booked the tour from home a couple of weeks prior to visiting Singapore and all communication was perfect. We arrived early and Ping, our Tour Guide introduced herself and immediately put us at ease as it had been many years since we used a push scooter (we are retired and have reasonable fitness levels). Our group consisted of 6 including us and off we set. This really is fantastic way of touring the city, covering so many different sights that that would not normally be on the tourist trail. Secrets of Singapore really does live up to its name as there are many secrets to be uncovered and all of them are really interesting. Informative, scenic and fun - Ping is a wonderful tour guide. Oh and not forgetting the food! It's not 5 star cuisine but it is genuinely authentic and very tasty.
We had never been on a scooter before. It was very fun. Great sightseeing. Ping was super. She knew a lot of great stories about the many hidden areas.
Was a great experience. Ping was a great guide. I was able to learn a lot about Singapore on this visit
I booked this tour two weeks before my trip to Singapore and really enjoyed it. The tour guide, Ping is very sweet and accommodating. She took me around the city on a time crunch and asked me which places I wanted to see, since I couldn’t stay the whole time. If you like history, this tour will be interesting for you! We started in Little India. Then we went to a bunch of different places and Ping gave some background history on each of the spots. She was also really excited to take photos! Later, she sent me a list of recommendations for thrift stores and where to find them since I was interested. As for dinner, I had to skip it since I was short on time, but we did stop for a drink and a snack. I believe the dinner is supposed to be chicken and rice (a traditional Singaporean dish). Just keep in mind that the scooters are not electric (license required in Singapore), so make sure you won’t be tired when scheduling a specific time for the tour - it does go for a few hours. I had a lot of fun riding the scooter! Had a great experience on this tour!
