Gedeelde punting tours in Cambridge zijn beschikbaar door het kopen van een ticket voor maximaal 2, 3 of 6 personen. Langs een drie mijl lang stuk van de rivier de Cam, zullen klanten de mooiste schilderachtige route ervaren langs de ruggen van zeven Cambridge Colleges, waaronder St John's, King's en Queens, om er maar een paar te noemen. IT is de beste manier om Cambridge te zien tegen een gereduceerde prijs.

Klanten passeren Magdalene College en leren over het College en de geleerden die door hun deuren zijn gegaan. De punters passeren ook Quayside, dat tegenover het College ligt, en leren over het handelsverleden van Cambridges.
Klanten gaan onder de Brug der Zuchten door en passeren het 'Wedding Cake Building', formeel bekend als het New Court.
Klanten passeren de Wren-bibliotheek en reizen onder Trinity Bridge door. Klanten zullen meer te weten komen over de oorsprong van het College en de royals die daar hebben gestudeerd. Na Trinity College reizen klanten langs Trinity Hall College en onder Garret Hostel Bridge door, de enige openbare voetgangersbrug langs dit stuk rivier.
Klanten passeren zowel Clare College als Clare College Gardens, die aan weerszijden van de rivieroevers liggen. De tuinen worden beschouwd als de meest schilderachtige in Cambridge, afgestudeerden hebben het recht om daar te trouwen. Klanten reizen ook onder Clare Bridge door en leren de geschiedenis over alle drie de bezienswaardigheden.
Klanten passeren de beroemde Kings College Chapel, de grootste gewelfde kapel ter wereld, evenals het Gibbs-gebouw. Klanten zullen worden onthaald met verhalen over het college en zijn brug.
Klanten zullen slagen en leren over College, en de Queen's die de oprichters waren. Klanten passeren ook onder de beroemde Mathematical Bridge, formeel bekend als de Wooden Bridge. Het is op dit punt van de reis (bij Silver Street Bridge) dat de punter zal draaien en terug langs de rivier zal reizen.

We had an amazing punting tour in Cambridge with Ryan “Air” as our guide. He was hands down the best tour guide — incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and funny throughout the trip. We learned so much from his detailed explanations while also having a fantastic time on the river. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Cambridge!

What a great way to see the colleges and bridges of Cambridge! Out guide, Matt, was very knowledgeable and calm. Just right for an early morning on the river. He said we’d picked the right time to go (early morning in March) as in the summer months it can get very busy. I would highly recommend this tour - and do ask for Matt if he’s about! 😁

Highly recommend this traditional punting company. It’s the perfect way to see Cambridge, including the colleges and the bridges. Sayid was fantastic, very friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and really informative throughout the tour. We paid £50 for three of us on a shared boat, which was great value. Would definitely do it again!

We booked this for Mothers 70th just because none of us had ever done it! It was fun! The office were just blooming lovey when I rang up (another company prior were not!) They shared a discount code, pulled the stops out for a bday and even when I got lost on the day (because I am incapable of checking emails not because they didn’t give crystal clear instructions they did, when I rang I was guided to location, offered to swap time spots etc). James our ‘man’ was super: it is a shame he supports Ipswich FC but other than that he was very honest, knowledgeable and pleasant and I had a lot off odd questions - I’m really pleased we had a lovey guide! Ring and book… they’re sound!

We had Adam as our punting guide with The Traditional Punting Company and he was fantastic. He was friendly, informative and clearly very knowledgeable about Cambridge and its history. He made the tour feel relaxed and enjoyable, and even switched to speaking Chinese for some of the other guests, which was really impressive and thoughtful. Our punter was Ben F who was friendly and very knowledgeable about the history along the river. There was 4 of us and our 2 dogs seated next to Ben and another couple the other end of the boat who didn’t interact at all.
