Op 7 oktober, tijdens Simchat Torah, werd de Gaza Envelop aangevallen. Deze tour verkent de getroffen gemeenschappen en benadrukt hun veerkracht. Op 7 oktober werd het Moshav Tkuma gebied, gelegen nabij de grens met Gaza, aanzienlijk getroffen door de aanvallen. Een van de meest angstaanjagende herinneringen aan de chaos is het "autokerkhof", waar voertuigen werden achtergelaten of vernietigd tijdens de aanval. Dit grimmige symbool van vernietiging weerspiegelt de intensiteit van het geweld dat de regio op die noodlottige dag heeft getroffen. Overlevenden en inwoners van Tkuma hebben hun verhalen over overleven en de immense uitdagingen waarmee ze tijdens de aanval werden geconfronteerd, gedeeld.

After 94 countries including Syria & Lebanon. This os the worst tour company I have ever dealt with. Their communication is terrible. They changed the pick up location without informing me or Viator. So I missed this tour. It was past the 24 cancelation period. So I did not get a refund. There are other tour companies in israel one can use. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS TOUR COMPANY.
We certainly apologise taht this waas the case with your resevation, but there is NO way that the platform you booked through didnot have the correct info regarding pick up. If your contact info was provided then throught this you wuold havebeen contacted. Refund will be issued via your booking agent, As you can see on this platform, the tour is current and operating therefore the misinformation regarding pick up is updated. Heart wrenching but necessary to bear witness. Our tour guide was very informative and we learned a lot of smaller details that are not commonly known.

The trip had an exceptional guide, Udi. His sense of humour and personal perspective of the events of October 7th made this trip not only memorable and really informative, but foremost - I emotionally “survived“. I was afraid of strong and difficult emotions but the way he explained what happened here prevented me somehow from being too emotional. It doesn’t mean you don’t go deep down into your feelings, I just mean I could cope with it. A deeply emotional experience but one well worth it. Our guide, Avi, was truly fantastic. He was very knowledgeable about any question we had for him and provided a truly fascinating experience for us, and gave us access to a perspective people from the west do not often have access too. It is important to see the sites with your own eyes to understand what occurred on October 7 and the following days.
