Wandeltocht door de bruisende markten en historische pleinen van het stadscentrum van Catania om de beste streetfood van de stad te proeven. Catania bezoeken zonder te genieten van het geweldige straatvoedsel dat op elk moment beschikbaar is, van zonsopgang tot nacht, zou betekenen dat u geen echte visie op de stad hebt. Het streetfood van Catania heeft een ware cult-aanhang. De stad is nu een must voor alle fijnproevers en liefhebbers van eten. Je hebt ook de mogelijkheid om te kiezen voor de avondtour, die om 17:00 uur vertrekt. De tour begint met een bezoek aan het benedictijner klooster, gevolgd door een aperitief met paardenvlees en wijn bij zonsondergang in de historische omgeving van Ursino Castle voordat u Piazza Duomo bereikt om te genieten van de traditionele arancino. Tot slot neemt het zoete deel van de tour u mee door een selectie van Siciliaanse gebaksdelicatessen, waaronder de beroemde ricotta cannolo, cassatella en amandelpasta tijdens de wintermaanden, of verfrissende Siciliaanse granita tijdens de zomermaanden.

This was a great tour where we got to try many foods and also see around the city as we walked from place to place. Our guide was very kind and explained all the foods well. We tried cipollina, deep fried anchovies, cheese, arancino, and granita.
Alessandra, our guide, was very good. You learn about Catania's history and get to sample lots of food.

We had a great time exploring the city and eating the food of Catania. Everything was delicious and our guide was great. She even had perfect suggestions on where we should go after the tour. Bring a bottle of water though as beverages aren’t offered at most stops.

The experience was very pleasant, I knew all the most important cities of Sicily, except Catania, I must say that the city left me with a bitter taste in my mouth as it was very dirty, the others nearby very interesting and pleasant to visit.

We didn’t get to take the tour because we didn’t have phone service to cancel within 24 hours and once the request was sent, it was denied.
Thank you for your message. However, we would like to clarify that a review is meant to be feedback on a service that was actually experienced. In this case, since the tour was not taken, it does not qualify as a review. We have already explained privately the reasons for not agreeing to a refund. we were only informed about the cancellation 3 hours before the tour, after we had already prepared everything for your group. We had paid the guide in full and purchased all the food in advance. Your booking was for 12 people and the group was nearly private, which caused us a significant economic loss due to this inconvenience that was not caused by us. Kind regards.
