Dit fort was niet alleen een belangrijk decor voor de serie, maar biedt ook een spectaculair uitzicht over de oude stad en de Adriatische zee.

Vanaf hier vertrekt de veerboot naar het eiland Lokrum.
Lokrum is een prachtig eiland vlak voor de kust en was het decor voor de stad "Qarth". Het hoogtepunt is een foto op de officiële ijzeren troon in de troonzaal in het benedictijnenklooster van het eiland. Daarna kunt u op het eiland blijven genieten van wat natuur. Het biedt mogelijkheden om te zwemmen, wandelen, klifduiken, evenals restaurants en bars. De veerboot vertrekt elk half uur/uur (afhankelijk van de tijd van het seizoen) en de overtocht duurt slechts 15 minuten.

This tour was a fun way to see some of the game of thrones filming locations while learning about the region from a local guide. The scenery along the tour is stunning and at the conclusion of the tour we had lunch and spent time at the beach in Lokrum island.
Very funny guide, kept us entertained for sure. Bring lists of water!! And wear tennis shoes as cobble stones can be uneven.
Alex was so knowledgeable about the history of the filming locations and had so much to share. She shared her own stories when the crew was in town filming. She gave us plenty of opportunities to ask questions. We chose the Lokrum Island extra and she made it very easy for us to purchase our tickets. We had so much fun and we are so grateful for Alex’s kindness and knowledge.
Honestly.. most tour guides tend to be a bit monotonous and uninteresting, that is until I had the pleasure of meeting Davor! He was extremely insightful on this tour with an amazing sense of humor! Very down to earth and such a positive attitude despite the scorching sun. I’d recommend him 10x over! This tour was so worth it from a GoT fan. Davor, the North will always remember you! Thank you for such an amazing time in Dubrovnik!
Alex was a great guide - she was very knowledgeable and kept the tour interesting and fun! Worth paying the extra to go across to Lokrum and then you can stay there as long as you like to explore the island afterwards.
This tour is top notch. Our guide Luka was highly knowledgeable, personal and funny. The 3 hour tour with Lokrum is definitely worth the money. It was only myself and my friend went to Lokrum with Luka. He made an effort to make us feel comfortsble and safe around the area. It's a very interesting tou and a must-do for any fans if the show.
We really enjoyed our 3 hour tour and our guide (Alana?) was wonderful. She is also a preschool teacher. It was fun to see many of the filming locations and listen to her narrative. She also had big protos of many of the scenes. We finished on the nearby island of Lokrum and sat on the Iron Throne! Then we went on our own around the island, had lunch and returned on our own. Highly recomment!
Very good explanation of the history of Dubrovnik and Croatia. Fun and interesting story of the filming of Game of Thrones. Alex our guide was excellent. The trip should have included the trip to Lokrum Island but unfortunately there were 30 miles an hour winds so no ferries were able to leave, this was disappointing, but did receive a refund the very next day & we managed to do the Lokrum trip by ourselves and it was amazing🙂
Ivo was a great tour guide. He showed us many of the filming locations and refreshed our memory on some of them which we had forgotten about from the show. He managed to also throw in some Dubrovnik history for the ones in our tour that were not GOT fans. He even recommended a great local beach we went to visit after. Great tour!
Darko was a great guide! We learned about the history of Dubrovnik & Croatia, which was great for members of our group who had not seen Game of Thrones. Awesome photos on the Iron Throne on the Island of Lokrum!
