Op deze 3 uur durende onvergetelijke reis bezoeken we alle grote sites van Dubrovnik, evenals de GoT-filmlocaties binnen de stadsmuren en rond de oude stad, inclusief degene die je nooit zou zien op andere reguliere GoT-tours in Dubrovnik! Treed in de voetsporen van Cersei's schaamtewandeling, maak een foto van Dubrovnik's beroemdste replica van de Irone Throne, luister naar het geluid van legendarische klokken van King's Landing, ga door de poorten van Red Keep en geniet van het adembenemende uitzicht vanaf de hoogten op Blackwater Bay - dit alles gekruid met het beste uitzicht op de oude stad, en veel anekdotes en interessante inzichten in de geschiedenis en cultuur van Dubrovnik. We gaan van de ene kant van de oude stad naar de andere, met veel fotostops, en water- en ijspauzes indien nodig, goed gekozen schaduwrijke plekken om uit de hete zon te komen, en prachtige vergezichten over de stad en de glorieuze architectuur. In de oude binnenstad van Dubrovnik ontdekken reizigers de belangrijkste bezienswaardigheden en monumenten, waaronder het Rectorenpaleis, het Sponzapaleis, de Onofrio-fontein, de oude haven, de kathedraal van Dubrovnik, de zuil van Orlando, de kerk van St. Blaise, de oude apotheek en vele andere verborgen hoekjes en verhalen die de geschiedenis van de stad tot leven brengen. Onderweg bezoeken we ook de belangrijkste Game of Thrones filmlocaties in de oude binnenstad, waaronder de beroemde Walk of Shame-trappen en vele andere iconische scènes uit King's Landing.
Tijdens de tour maken we ook een stop bij Pile Bay, gelegen net buiten de oude stadsmuren. Fans van Game of Thrones zullen het meteen herkennen als de haven van King's Landing, een van de meest iconische filmlocaties in Dubrovnik. Deze prachtige plek aan zee werd gebruikt in verschillende memorabele scènes gedurende de serie en biedt een spectaculair uitzicht op de oude stad, het fort van Lovrjenac en de Adriatische Zee - waardoor het een van de meest gefotografeerde locaties tijdens de tour is.
De tour eindigt bij het fort Lovrjenac, net buiten de oude binnenstad van Dubrovnik. Het toegangsticket voor het fort van Lovrjenac (€15) is niet inbegrepen in de tourprijs. Toegang tot het fort is gratis met een ticket voor de stadsmuren of een Dubrovnik Pass. De tour is exclusief een bezoek aan de stadsmuren. Als u echter een ticket voor het fort Lovrjenac koopt, kunt u dit later gebruiken om binnen 72 uur korting te krijgen op het ticket voor de stadsmuren.

Great value for money and you learn a lot about the history of the city as well as the hidden secrets of the filming of GOT. A must do.
Very much enjoyed our tour on June 20. Robert was a fabulous guide, and provided great insights on the past and present of Dubrovnik, as well as highlighting many locations throughout town that iconic GoT scenes were filmed at, as well as some very cool stories of being an extra on several GoT episodes. Thanks again to Robert for a fabulous day!
This 3 hour walking tour was perfect! We went on one of the hottest days during peak sunlight and were definitely nervous about the heat before the tour started, but were pleasantly surprised by how well it was handled. Our tour guide Robert, ‘Bobo’, kept us in shade as much as possible and we stopped frequently to admire the sights. This tour was absolutely fantastic- a mix of fascinating Dubrovnik history, led by a true Dubrovnik local- and awesome Game of Thrones scene locations with scene pictures to match. Robert was hilarious, our whole group was laughing the entire time with his anecdotes of his time as an extra on Game of Thrones itself which helped us feel like we were in safe hands, led by someone genuinely immersed and passionate about the show and its affect on Dubrovnik! I would highly recommend this tour, with 1.5 hours of walking around Old Town, 15 minutes at the iconic West Harbour, finishing with 45 minutes roughly at Lovrjenac Fortress, filled with enough breaks in the shade along the way! A must do on your trip to Dubrovnik, thanks Robert!
We took the game of thrones and old town history tour through Dubrovnik. It was a good tour and we touched on so many locations for game of thrones, I was a little disappointed there wasnt as much history provided during the walking tour. We spent alot of time on seeing sites of GOT and more recent history such as how GOT and the pandemic has impacted the city. While there certainly was discussin of ancient history, I would have liked to have the balance distributed a little differently.
Summer is tough as we are not used to the heat. Visit around Spring or fall, theres less crowds. Guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the city. A must see.
Jelena was the best guide. She provided historical context infused with locals sentiment, so it was great to learn about Dubrovnik then and now. Of course the game of thrones references were amazing and abundant. Highly recommend!
Our guide was so knowledgeable and friendly! Loved it all! I really enjoyed learning so much history about Dubrovnik and then how they incorporated that history into the Game of Thrones series.
Robert was a fantastic tour guide! Lots of knowledge about Croatian history as well as Game of Thrones. My husband has seen the show but I have not and we both enjoyed the tour equally. Robert has a great sense of humor and energy so we could hardly tell we were melting in the heat. Highly recommend this tour!
Great tour and would recommend. 2 in our group were avid Game of Thrones fans and 2 had never seen but we all had a great time. Our guide Robert was very knowledgeable and made sure we all had a great time. The tour is probably 30 minutes longer than it needs to be especially on a really hot day so if going during the summer, bring water and come prepared!
I cannot say enough about our morning with Jelena and Dubrovnik Storytellers. We learned so much about this amazing city in addition to the fun GOT filming sites. Jelena is a native of the city and her passion and love for her city and country run deep. We could not help but fall in love with the city too. From her synopsis of the history of the city to the current day economy I feel like we really got to see the sights in a far more meaningful way. My husband has partial Croatian roots and we could not help but see the similarities between our host and his extended family! It was extra special! We would love to come back to this stunning city again and would absolutely stick with Jelena for another tour. Did I even mention my teenagers found her funny, engaging not the least bit “cringe” if that isn’t a 10/10 review! 🫶🏻
