He was born and raised here and had incredible personal stories that tied in with the community. Arthur was thoughtful, kind, and knowledgeable. We had an absolutely wonderful walking tour of Galway with Arthur McGuire as a family of four! What made the experience so special was how personal it felt. Arthur didn’t simply take us to the usual sights and recite facts—he brought Galway’s history to life through stories, fascinating details, and his own connection to the city. We learned so much about Galway’s history that we never would have discovered on our own.
