Doorkruis het vredige en pittoreske Gallipoli-schiereiland, een historisch landschap dat in de Eerste Wereldoorlog een belangrijk slagveld was. Een lange rit naar het prachtige stadje Eceabat, waar je energie krijgt door te genieten van een heerlijke maaltijd in een lokaal restaurant. Na een bevredigende lunch begint u aan de tour rond het schiereiland, vergezeld door een deskundige, Engelssprekende gids die u zal boeien met zijn verhalen en commentaar op de verschillende sites die u zult bezoeken. Omdat het Gallipoli-schiereiland tijdens de oorlog een slagveld was, kwamen veel soldaten, waaronder een groot aantal Australiërs en Kiwi, om, dus er heerst een aangrijpende sfeer die het hele landschap doordringt. Je kunt zelfs je hulde brengen aan de gevallen soldaten via de herdenkingsplaatsen in Brighton Beach, ANZAC Cove, de Nek Ridge en Chunuk Bair. Je bezoekt zelfs de beroemde Johnston's Jolly, een slagveld met loopgraven waar veel Turkse en geallieerde soldaten dekking zochten.

Tourmania travel company is a scam. I booked this trip and they cancelled on me last minute late the night before. I am still waiting for my money back weeks later and they are uncontactable and never answer my calls emails or texts. I have lost alot of money to them

Great tour of the most important spots from an ANZAC point of view. Our guide was fantastic, so informative and fun. Learnt so much. Very moving. Being able to actually stand in the trenches was humbling and a great experience, would recommend to any ANZAC visiting Istanbul.

Would recommend. Worth the long drive to see all the sites and Ibo the guide was very knowledgable and pretty funny too. Ample breaks along the way. Transport was comfortable too

Outstanding! So much history and so much knowledge - our guide burak (I think was his name) was a subject matter expert. It was very thrilling to learn the Turkish side of the story of Gallipoli having known the Aussie side. From the battering waves at Anzac cove to the trenches and war graves. This tour is a must if you want to learn about the history of the Anzacs.
