Tijdens onze tijd samen bewegen we ons door de stad met enkele tussenstops en rijden we door locaties die het Botswana-verhaal delen door de stad. Krijg de kans om ons inheemse fruit (optioneel en seizoensgebonden) te proeven en kunst in wording te ervaren. Oppervlakkig is het een typische stad met zijn afro-westerse stijl. We ontdekken wat de diamanthoofdstad tot een bijzondere plek maakt voor zowel locals als bezoekers. Schuw niet om uw interesses te delen, zodat we kunnen proberen ze op te nemen in uw tour tijd indien mogelijk zonder extra kosten... Het is meer dan sightseeing, wij zijn uw verhalenvertellers die ons leven, het leven van onze mensen en de schoonheid van Botswana delen. De Main Mall....Hier bezoeken we Botswana's allereerste winkelcentrum. Nu een bloeiende verzameling van verkopers en supermarkten, is het een kans om de lokale bevolking te ontmoeten, lokale sieraden te kopen en het beschikbare inheemse fruit te proeven.
Vee speelt een grote rol in de cultuur van Botswana. Door bijdragen van vee en ander vee bouwden de mensen hun allereerste universiteit
Van een magistraat tot een centrum voor beeldende kunst. Bekijk de kunstwerken, ontmoet de kunstenaars, een oud dug-out fort is ook in de buurt, evenals de eerste gevangenis en het eerste postkantoor van Gaborone
De hoofdstad van Botswana is vernoemd naar het overleden opperhoofd van de Batlokwa-stam, opperhoofd Gaborone (uitgesproken als Gaboronee). Zijn volk woont nu in Tlokweng grenzend aan de stad. Krijg een ander beeld van Gaborone terwijl we door dit moderne dorp rijden.
We rijden door de enige township in Botswana, het leverde de arbeidskrachten die de stad hebben gebouwd en levert vandaag de arbeid die de stad bestuurt

The absolute best tour guide I’ve had in my travels to more than 73 countries! If you come to Botswana, and do not choose this tour guide, you’re probably making a big mistake! Otto was so knowledgeable, informative, hospitable, and a true professional! It truly made it one of the most delightful tours I’ve ever taken
Oscar was a e Cellini guide but talked just too much and I kept having to interrupt to be able to ask questions that interested me. We had been here a week so already knew a bit of background.. unfortunate to strike presidents funeral day so couldn’t get out of the car at times. We asked to go to the National museum as have been many times to the Game mall !!! Meant to be Main mall in your activities. Am I the first to notice that big mistake?

I only had one full day to experience Gaborone, Botswana so I decided to book this tour so I could see all that I could, turns out I chose well with this one! My guide, Andy, picked me up from my hotel at 9 am and ended when he dropped me back off at 1 pm. We visited many notable spots in Gaborone including the Three Dikgosi Monument to learn about Botswana’s History, the Main Mall to shop for crafts and local foods, the University of Botswana, and the Thapong Visual Arts Centre. I learned and saw a lot in Gaborone, the capital city of Botswana today and a big thank you to my guide, Andy, for doing great job being my guide for this tour! If you’re looking for a tour that shows you Gaborone in just one day definitely consider booking this tour! Highly recommended! - Nolan
Was a really great tour and the tour guide was really friendly and informative. Was a really great way to see the city.
What a wonderful half day. Otto was so friendly and full of information and she went way beyond the call of duty to make sure I had a good experience. She took me to the National Museum which I highly recommend.
Otto is absolutely amazing. My only regret is that I didn’t book a full day tour with her because time passed too quickly. The itinerary was great, but Otto’s personality and knowledge of her country made the trip even more amazing. I can’t recommend her enough!
