Furnas vulkaan, meer, geisers, theeplantage en Terra Nostra

De perfecte dag in São Miguel, zelfs als het regent, is het verkennen van de vulkaan activiteit in Furnas : “caldeiras”; geisers; thermische bronnen. Tijd hebben om te bezoeken en te baden in het Terra Nostra Park en warmwaterbronnen. Entree is niet inbegrepen, deze kunt u op de dag zelf bij de ingang van het park kopen (onder voorbehoud van beschikbaarheid). Als u het park liever niet bezoekt, kunt u meer tijd doorbrengen met het verkennen van het dorp Furnas en de kans grijpen om beroemde producten van het eiland te proeven en te kopen: thee, “Bolo Lêvedo”, gestoomde maïskolf, “Queijadas” en vele andere. Of lunchen. Hoewel niet inbegrepen kunt u stoppen om de typische "cozido" te lunchen, in een lokaal restaurant. Gelieve te adviseren dus we boeken van tevoren. Verken de hellingen van de theeplantage en de fabriek bij Gorreana Tea Plantation. Pitstop onderweg op belangrijke uitzichtpunten zoals Santa Iria en Pico do Ferro. Deze ervaring duurt ongeveer 5 uur. Houd er rekening mee dat als u stopt voor de lunch we minder tijd nodig hebben op andere locaties.

Bezoek de theeplantage en fabriek, geniet van wat tijd om langs de theehellingen te wandelen, leer het proces en proef onze unieke thee.
Geniet van het beste uitzicht over de Furnas vallei vanaf dit hoge punt.
Geniet van het schilderachtige uitzicht op de rand van Furnas Lake.
Wandel door de vulkanische kookpods, waar het beroemde “cozido” gerecht wordt gekookt. Entree niet inbegrepen (3 euro per persoon).
Verken en baad in dit magische beroemde botanische park. Toegangsprijs is niet inbegrepen, deze kan gekocht worden in het Park (afhankelijk van beschikbaarheid). Als u liever niet het Park bezoekt kunt u meer tijd besteden aan het verkennen van het dorp.
Bezoek de geisers en de thermale bronnen in het dorp Furnas, en geniet van wat vrije tijd in het dorp waar u lokale producten kunt kopen : Bolo Lêvedo, Corn Cob, Sweet tarts...
Omringd door het prachtige botanische landschap van de rivier de beek, vindt u een warmwaterbron watervijver. We dagen je uit om je voeten erin te dopen!
Stop onderweg om te genieten van een prachtig 360-uitzicht over de noordkust van het eiland en de bergen.

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
We halen op elke locatie op Ponta Delgada (inclusief luchthaven en cruisehaven), Lagoa, Ribeira Grande en Furnas gebieden. Andere locaties zijn op aanvraag, het kan nodig zijn om ons te ontmoeten op een ontmoetingspunt, of een extra vergoeding te betalen. Gelieve te informeren. Ophaaltijd: 9:30 AM (als u een andere ophaaltijd nodig heeft gelieve te adviseren) Houd er rekening mee dat we een SUV-type met 5 zitplaatsen hebben, we kunnen maximaal 4 deelnemers per voertuig meenemen als het uw groep past.

Carlos was very good. Enjoyed the sites and the information very Much. Lived going to the pot cooking sites, would have liked to get to try the food!

WOW! This was a fabulous experience. I chose a private solo tour as I was limited on time and had very specific things I wanted to do and see. Carlos is a local and knew so much about the island and history. With weather continually changing that day, he adjusted our locations so strategically so that we had the best views when the weather cleared. Took me to a smaller fabulous restaurant to try the local dish cooked in the thermal ground heat. Gave me plenty of alone time as I requested to explore on my own. Loved the thermal activity viewing, the lunch, the views from the top of the mountain, and the professionalism of Carlos. Highly recommend this tour and company! I will be back.
Carlos was our guide, and we were in awe of his expertise and knowledge. He was very friendly, easygoing, and seemed to genuinely enjoy what he was doing. Overall he was great company and also gave us space at times to explore. He was flexible with our itinerary a bit given that the hot springs were closed (due to natural reasons) and that my crew had already (accidentally) visited Lagoa do Fogo. We spent the day exploring the east end of Sao Miguel island with Rita and could not have been more pleased. Rita is highly professional and knowledgeable as well as warm and engaging, as if we were traveling with a friend. Rita shared local history, culture, and interesting anecdotes all along the way. In fact, we enjoyed our time so much that we booked a west end tour with her. Time on this tour and with Rita is time well-spent on the island.
My guide was a teacher/professor and was extremely knowledgeable about his country. He went above and beyond to make sure I saw everything possible even though the weather was terrible with rain, fog and wind.
Don’t hesitate book this tour! It’s one of the best we’ve ever had. Carlos, our guide was super knowledgeable, so obliging, polite, and spoke perfect English. He showed us one end of the island to the other. He was so generous with his knowledge and time, we were very impressed. The island is gorgeous, and he is very proud of his home. Don’t hesitate, this is one of the best tours we’ve ever taken Carlos, our guide, who was absolutely the greatest, spoke perfect English and knew every every single site to bring us He was courteous, effective, and so full of knowledge. We covered one end of the island to another, and I didn’t want it to end. So well worth the money.
Great communication and a wonderful private tour! Carlod was at the cruise dock at the time we had agreed on and we spent the day with im exploring this beautiful island. His English is perfect (he lived in the US) and he is very knowledgeable and loves the island. We were ahead of the buses from the cruise line and had a lot of time to look and explore. Yes, we would book with him again in a heart beat.
