Leuk kajakken in het meer van Trasimeno met lunch - Umbrië

Aangename ervaring om uw tijd te verrijken aan het meer van Trasimeno, het grootste van Midden-Italië, prachtig water, omgeven door natuurlijke landschappen van grote schoonheid, oude dorpen en historische huizen. In slechts 30/40 minuten kajakken kunt u de oevers van Isola Polvese bereiken en uw kano aanleggen om te genieten van een mooie wandeling of om op te frissen door te zwemmen in de prachtige wateren van het meer. Alle apparatuur is aanwezig, inclusief een ondoordringbare hoes voor uw telefoon. Terug van de excursie zullen we genieten van een heerlijke lunch met menu op basis van specialiteiten uit het meer in een lokaal restaurant met drankjes inbegrepen.

Lake Trasimeno was full of algae so we were told it would not be an enjoyable experience. We were given the option of Kayaking on the river in Valnerina and we are so glad we chose it! As 3 Novice kayakers we were given good instructions with the expert guide. We even stopped to practice river life saving techniques. For us the experience was an exciting adventure. Lunch at a local restaurant sitting with the sounds of millions of cicadas was lovely.

This was such a great experience! Serena and her husband (who’s name escapes me) were so friendly and knowledgeable. We started by changing into wetsuits, then did the first leg of the journey. We stopped for an espresso, then got back on the river. I learned a lot, and had a ton of fun. I was pretty tired by the end of it, but still wished we could have gone even further. After we got back and changed, Serena directed us to the restaurant where we had lunch. Definitely one of the best meals I’ve had here (and that’s saying something)! The wild boar ragu was my favorite. I would absolutely recommend this experience. 11/10
