Groepsoptie 1: Woestijn & Wadi Bani Khalid Begin met een 4x4 rit naar Wahiba Sands, waarbij je duin bashing over gouden duinen ervaart. Geniet van de tijd om te wandelen, foto's te maken en het uitgestrekte woestijnlandschap te bewonderen. Na een traditionele lunch (vegetarische opties beschikbaar), verder naar Wadi Bani Khalid. Zwem in heldere turquoise zwembaden, verken canyonpaden of ontspan tussen palmbomen. Zwemmen is optioneel, maar wordt aanbevolen bij warm weer. Groepsoptie 2: Wadi & woestijn – zonsondergang Begin bij Wadi Bani Khalid met tijd om te zwemmen, te verkennen of te ontspannen. Zwemmen is optioneel, maar wordt aanbevolen bij warm weer. Ga naar Wahiba Sands voor duin bashing en vrije tijd op de duinen. Blijf getuige van de zonsondergang in de woestijn voordat u terugkeert naar Muscat. Groepsoptie 3: Wadi, woestijn & quad Bezoek Wadi Bani Khalid om te zwemmen, te verkennen of te ontspannen. Ga verder naar Wahiba Sands voor duin bashing, duin wandelingen, en een 30 - minuten quad fietstocht (een quad per persoon). Afhankelijk van de timing kunt u ook getuige zijn van de woestijn badend in warme zonsondergangtinten.

Wahiba Sands is een van de meest iconische woestijnen van Oman en een hoogtepunt van elke reis naar het land. De weg van Muscat naar Wadi Bani Khalid duurt ongeveer 2 uur en 30 minuten enkele reis. Ophaallocaties en -tijden
We nemen een dag voor de tour contact op met alle gasten om de ophaalgegevens te bevestigen. Geef je exacte adres op bij het boeken en een actief WhatsApp-nummer om een vlotte communicatie te garanderen. Als uw ophaallocatie geen hotel is maar een specifieke plaats (bijvoorbeeld een privéwoning of kantoor), markeer dan het exacte gebouw op de kaart en geef duidelijke instructies zodat onze chauffeur u gemakkelijk kan lokaliseren. Als ophalen op de luchthaven nodig is of als de tour plaatsvindt op dezelfde dag als uw aankomst, houd dan rekening met voldoende buffertijd voordat de tour begint. Als u ingecheckte bagage moet ophalen, raden we u aan om minimaal 1,5 uur te plannen tussen uw geplande aankomsttijd en de start van de tour. Als u reist zonder ingecheckte bagage, wordt een minimum van 1 uur aanbevolen om tijdige aankomst voor ophalen te garanderen.

- Fuel Stop & Snacks : Er is een korte stop bij een tankstation waar gasten snacks, vruchtensappen of koffie kunnen kopen voor contant geld.
- Weersoverwegingen : De tour werkt onder alle weersomstandigheden; in geval van extreem weer kunnen bepaalde activiteiten echter worden aangepast of verplaatst
- Pick-up & Drop-off : Transfers worden verzorgd vanuit Muscat. De exacte ophaaltijd wordt een dag voor de tour via WhatsApp bevestigd, dus geef van tevoren een actief WhatsApp-nummer door.
- Let op : De totale duur van woestijn en oase activiteiten is ongeveer 3 uur; de resterende tijd van de tour wordt toegewezen aan reizen tussen Muscat en de activiteiten locaties (heen en terug).
- De tour is alleen beschikbaar voor gasten van 5 jaar en ouder
- Om veiligheidsredenen wordt deze tour niet aanbevolen voor zwangere gasten vanwege duin bashing activiteiten. Wij adviseren om een privétour zonder duinrijden te boeken voor een veiligere en comfortabelere ervaring.

He accompanied us through the wonderful landscapes of Wadi Bani Khalid and the desert, allowing us to experience an authentic, fun, and emotionally rich experience. During the trip, we chatted a lot, and talking with him was truly interesting: he knows his country very well and is a person full of energy and friendliness. In the desert, it was fantastic: he took us over the dunes with great confidence and skill, allowing us to experience thrilling moments while always making us feel safe. However, the thing that impressed us the most was his incredible kindness. Even after the tour, he remained at our disposal, and two days later, he even offered to take us to the airport for free. Moreover, he told us that he would be happy to help us visit other places, simply by calling him, without asking for anything in return. People like this are rarely encountered. My original tour was cancelled the night before while I was already in transit, which unfortunately didn’t leave me enough time to arrange an alternative experience. The company did organise a replacement tour for me via WhatsApp, which I appreciated. The guide on the replacement tour was fantastic very knowledgeable, kind, and genuinely passionate. I really enjoyed spending the day with him. However, I do feel disappointed that I missed out on the experience I had specifically booked and was looking forward to. The original tour appeared to offer a much more unique and memorable “wow” experience compared to the replacement, yet I was still charged the same price. Because of that, I don’t feel the replacement tour was of equal value to what I had originally paid for.

An absolutely unforgettable experience with Khair. Wadi was beyond beautiful and the beautiful peaceful deserts, breathtaking views, stunning sunsets. Everything from the atmosphere to the hospitality made this trip feel so special. Truly one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever visited. I was able to pet the camels and use the ATVS & Khair made me feel very comfortable. If you’re girly like I am, bring an extra set of clothes for cute pics! I thoroughly enjoyed every part of this experience, from the road trip and getting to talk to our super knowledgeable and friendly guide Qais, to the wadi where we got to take a dip in the clear waters and get my feet exfoliated by little fishies (optional but I recommend), to my favourite part of going to the desert sands and just absorbing the beauty of it at sunset

The day started with Wadi Bani Khalid, which to me was just so so as I had been to Wadi Shab, which I found more adventurous and memorable. And most facilities were still being built and there was a lot of construction going on around the large pools near the entrance. Still, once further in the valley, it's still very relaxing in the more secluded pools. But the day really picked up at the Wahiba Desert... our guide Abdallah's mastery at the wheel absolutely made the experience as we glided over one dune after another. Sandsurfing added some good balance training to it and the sunset was just stunning. Remember to bring some good snacks to feed the camels who, I found out, love tortilla chips. And they are actually picky eaters. They are very gentle and friendly as well... absolutely majestic creatures. Good organisation and a dedicated guide topped off the experience.

Our tour guide Abdulah made this trip truly unforgettable! He was very nice, showed us the beauty of Wadi Bani (you get enough time to swim in this natural beauty) and the Wahiba desert, driving in a 4x4 car. We saw the bedouine house, camels, we could also try sandboarding, after that we enjoyed a cup of tea Abdulah made for us while watching the sun setting down. We really enjoyed the whole day and really recommend it!

Our guide, Nasser was excellent. The tour was well structured and the lunch and venue were very good indeed. Nasser was very knowledgeable about Oman and its culture, well travelled and provided clear answers to all queries. We had a very good group together with participants in a 2nd vehicle with whom we enjoyed lunch and the trip to the Wadi Bani Khalid and the desert drive to see the sunset.
