Beschrijving
Onze reis brengt ons naar enkele van de mooiste stranden aan de kust van Otranto, terwijl we de hele reis genieten, omringd door een prachtig mediterraan struikgewas. Ik breng je eerst naar de stad Otranto, waar je een onafhankelijke rondleiding kunt krijgen door de verbazingwekkende oude binnenstad. Daarna gaan we naar een van de goed beoordeelde bakkerijen voor een onafhankelijke winkel met typische gulzigheid waarvan u misschien zult genieten op het eerste strand waar we langs de waterkant van Otranto stoppen. De volgende transfer brengt ons naar de Turkenbaai, het wildste strand dat je ooit zou kunnen zien. Hier kunt u genieten van uw tijd zoals u dat wilt, een duik nemen of over het dennenpad wandelen en de verbazingwekkende baaien ontdekken die de plaats te bieden heeft. In Torre Sant’ Andrea, onze volgende stop, kun je het helderste water ontdekken dat je ooit in Puglia hebt gezien. De rondleiding is alleen voor jou, dus we hebben geen haast en je bezoektijd zal zeer flexibel zijn.

Transfer van Lecce naar Otranto 45 min - Otranto, een van de mooiste kustdorpen in Salento. Elke hoek benadrukt de verschillende beschavingen die hier leefden zoals Romeinen, Byzantijnen, Ottomanen en Aragonezen. Je hebt vrije tijd voor een bezoek aan de geweldige kathedraal, de Sint-Pieterskerk in Byzantijnse stijl, het kasteel en de indrukwekkende muren die de hele oude stad omringen.

Transfer van Otranto naar de baai van Turkije 15 min - Het wildste strand dat je ooit hebt gezien. Hier kunt u genieten van uw tijd op de manier die u wenst, zwemmen, zonnebaden of wandelen rond de pijnbomen pad voor het ontdekken van de geweldige baaien die de plaats biedt.
Transfer van de baai van Turkije naar Torre Sant'Andrea 15 min - De Faraglioni baai is een prachtig gezicht. Het water is het helderste dat je kunt vinden in Puglia en de achtergrond is uitstekend. Hier kunt u zwemmen door de in de rots uitgehouwen treden af te gaan of op het nabijgelegen zandstrand, dus neem uw zwembroek mee om te genieten van de prachtige zee. U kunt ook zelfstandig lunchen in de nabijgelegen restaurants met heerlijke terrassen aan zee.
Transfer van Torre Sant'Andrea naar “Le Due Sorelle Beach” 5 min - Het mooiste en langste zandstrand van Torre dell’Orso, zo genoemd omdat twee rotsen op twee zussen lijken. U zult genieten van het strand wandelen door het tussen de prachtige uitzichtpunten en zwemmen in de prachtige azuurblauwe zee.

This was an amazing tour given by Maurizio & his wife, well planned, with the most incredible photo opportunities of some of the most stunning landscapes in this area from Lecce to Otranto. The waters in this area are unbelievably beautiful! With options to take a rest on a beach & take it all in. This tour is well worth it, the guides were wonderful & showed me things that took my breath away. One of the best days of my trip in this region!!! I don’t think you would find all of this on your own.
This is exactly the tour I was looking for. I wanted to see more beaches than we had on a different tour. This tour lets you decide how long you would like to spend at a location. Bob is an excellent guide with lots of communication prior to departure regarding pickup location and time. A native of Lecce who knows the interesting and beautiful spots along the coast. Even though the weather was a bit gloomy, Bob took us to Otranto as well as beautiful beaches (although it was too cool to swim). We had a great lunch and even a stop for gelato. Bob is happy to share his experiences living in Lecce and provides lots of recommendations for dining and sightseeing in Lecce. We could not have selected a better tour and guide. Thank you Bob!

Our guide, Roberto, was very adept at finding quiet spots and steering us away from busy crowds during the peak August season. He found us a lovely cove to swim in and some of the best gelato we've ever tasted! We would highly recommend Roberto for this tour.

This day tour with Roberto was not just the highlight of our family trip to Puglia, it was one of the very best days we’ve ever had on vacation! Roberto is the quintessential guide. He is supremely knowledgeable about the region, as a local, but he is also an excellent English speaker with a gift for storytelling and humor. Roberto is very kind hearted, as well, and works hard to make the day fun for all and easy. We visited beaches during a very busy tourist season and while we would be swimming and sunning, Roberto would be hard at work - moving the van from place to place to avoid tickets, drying towels in the sun, cleaning sandy seats, and communicating with us all the while on his location. He recommended wonderful spots to eat, snack, and get gelato, as well! We cannot recommend Roberto highly enough!!! If you visit Lecce, arranging a day with Roberto is a MUST!!!!
Roberto was a fantastic guide. He was so communicative beforehand and during. He did everything to ensure we had a smooth and seamless day in Otranto at our own pace. The group was only my friend and I so we ended up receiving a private experience for the day. Roberto spoke English and was very educated about the area. He provided us with beach chairs and everything else we needed for a perfect day.

Maurizio and his wife are particularly nice, the trip is very nice and the places are beautiful. If you’re travelling without a car, and before the summer buses come into service, it’s a worthwhile option!
