Chiang Mai Tour is niet compleet zonder Wat Rong Khun te zien, beter bekend als de Witte Tempel. Reis gemakkelijk naar de bezienswaardigheid op een probleemloze dagtrip vanuit Chiang Mai, ideaal voor nieuwe bezoekers met beperkte tijd. Vink in slechts één dag het 7e-eeuwse Chiang Saen en de Gouden Driehoek af en maak een boottocht op de rivier de Khong. Geniet van het gemak van het ophalen en inleveren van hotels in een minibus met airconditioning en ontvang persoonlijke aandacht van uw gids in een kleine groep van maximaal negen personen.

07:00 - Ophalen bij hotel of ophaalpunt en vervolgens rechtstreeks naar Chiang Rai
Mae Khachan Hotspring, als breekpunt, met beschikbare toilet- en restaurantdiensten. Laten we eens kijken naar de hoogste geiser in Thailand.
Daarna gaan we naar de Witte Tempel (Wat Rong Khun). Bewonder het unieke decor van glas, sculpturale stukken en muurschilderingen, allemaal ontworpen door een beroemde Thaise kunstenaar. Verken de verbluffende architectuur en witte gebouwen versierd met glas.
Vertrek naar de Gouden Driehoek, Chiang Saen in de provincie Chiang Rai. Hier houden we een lunchpauze. (Dit is de grens tussen Laos, Myanmar en Thailand en wordt gescheiden door de Mekong rivieren)
Een bezoek aan de Gouden Driehoek, de noordelijkste regio van Thailand.
Bezoek de grens met Laos ongeveer 35-40 minuten (optioneel) - u moet 300 THB extra betalen
Terug naar Chiang Mai. Het duurt ongeveer 3 uur 20:00-21:00 uur - u arriveert in Chiang Mai en bereikt uw hotel veilig.

It's long trip, so be prepared but what a day, full experience from chiang mai to chiang rai, all point of attraction cover as mentioned and very well explained by our guide. Highly recommended everyone to try once.

We took the 14+ hour tour from Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai & on to the Golden Triangle. The minivan picked us up from our hotel at 7:30 a.m. We visited the Long Neck Karen village, the White Temple, Blue Temple & the Black House Museum before going on to the border of Thailand for a 30 minute boat ride on the Mekong River from Thailand, past Myanmar & Laos then back to Thailand. Had a 3 1/2 - 4 hour van ride back to Chiang Mai. Looong day but really enjoyed it. The young woman guide, Bee, was super helpful, good English, explained everything completely.

We saw a lot on this intensive tour and learned a lot about the 3 temples and the 3 famous artists. The Mekong and the Golden Triangle have something very special about them. It's a very long day, but it was absolutely worth it. The companion Anna was super nice and competent.

Misleading tour description. There was no boat ride and there was no border (Myanmar / Laos) visit, which was given in the tour description. This tour is about visiting 3 temples - white temple, blue temple and the black house or the museum. Got picked up in a van and put in a bus with other 3 van people - found out we paid way higher than the rest of the tour groups for the same tour. Did not expect this from Viator. Tour was professionally managed and organized but the misleading tour description and the overpricing did not great a good feeling.

Please read all descriptions carefully before buying your tour. Nevertheless we are sorry for any inconvenience caused.
On time pick up from the hotel. Knowledgeable tour guide, Eve, and good driver. Covered all the spots as described. Particular love the Blue Temple. However, I felt there was not enough time to thoroughly tour each site due to the distance from Chiang Mai and between sites.

I enjoyed the Tour from Chaing Mi which is definitely a Full day tour. Expect between 12-14 hours. The mini van was full but comfortable which is necessary for the long trip up to the Golden Trianhle area. Many stops along the way.. Karen Long Neck Village, White Temple, Blue Temple, Baandam museum/ complex and a boat ride in the Golden Triangle area border area of Burma 🇲🇲 Laos 🇱🇦 and Thailand 🇹🇭. The stop for lunch @ a buffet style meal was good with a lot of selections. The guide was very good. She struggled with others on the tour that just consistently refused to be at the predetermined location and time specified and were constantly late which made her have to go look for them. Please don't be those person(s) it made her job much more difficult and harder on everyone in the group. I recommend this tour and company if you can do a FULL DAY and can follow instructions and can be courteous to your other travelers.

Even though this tour was long it was a great experience. The places visited were fantastic, the White and Blue Temples were absolutetly gorgeous and different from any other ones we've seeing in other places. The hot springs was a fun experience, even though we weren't allowed to stay for a bit. All in all it was a great tour!

It is a very long day but good if you are short on time and don’t want to spend a night in Chiang Rai. The lunch at a local restaurant was delicious and plentiful. Our guide made sure we had adequate restroom and snack breaks but also ensured we kept to the schedule for each stop. Our driver was also excellent. We were ahead of schedule and got back to Chiang Mai earlier than planned. The driver dropped some of us that wanted to go to the Sunday night market instead of back to our hotels. All in all a great day.
