Deze rondleiding is zeer georganiseerd en houdt zich aan een schema dat we aanpassen om de beste ervaring te blijven bieden. Houd er rekening mee dat onze tour de langste tijd doorbrengt in Tolantongo, zodat u echt kunt genieten van uw tijd in Tolantongo zonder dat u zich de hele dag door gehaast voelt door uw reisorganisatie. Onze gidsen beheersen hun Engelse taalvaardigheid uiterst vloeiend. De meesten hebben een groot deel van hun leven in de Verenigde Staten en of Canada gewoond. Wij zorgen voor comfort in ons vervoer, door niet toe te staan dat onze voertuigen krap en krap zijn met te veel gasten. Onze gidsen hebben ook een goede relatie met de gemeenschap van medewerkers die in Tolantongo werken. Afhankelijk van uw voorkeur zullen we elkaar ontmoeten in de "Angel de Independencia" ongeveer tussen 5 : 35 tot 5 : 50 uur 's ochtends, vertrekken vroeg om te ontsnappen aan de chaos van de stad. Onze groep heeft privé vervoer. We stoppen voor een vroeg ontbijt in Actopan, een stad halverwege onze bestemming. reistijd naar het restaurant is ongeveer 90 minuten.
Vegetarisch vriendelijke opties met beperkte veganistische opties. Het ontbijt is voor ons.
We passeren het rustige stadje San Cristobal, Hgo. Dit is de stad en gemeenschap die eigenaar is van las Grutas de Tolantongo. De rit van het ontbijt naar deze plek duurt ongeveer 90 minuten. Onderweg stoppen we kort voor eventuele ontbrekende voorraden die u nodig heeft voor het avontuur van de dag.
De dag is verdeeld in drie delen. Pool Tranquility : Begin uw dag ontspannen in de “pocitos”; natuurlijk warme thermale baden die een verbazingwekkend uitzicht bieden dat lichaam en geest kalmeert en leeg maakt – perfect voor “de gram.” Vanaf hier is er een zip-lining opties om u naar het volgende deel van onze dag aan de rivier. Houd er rekening mee dat ziplining niet is inbegrepen in de prijs van de tour (300 Mexicaanse pesos). Onze Gids zorgt ervoor dat u alle benodigdheden voor de dag heeft. Rijden van de ontbijthalte tot het daadwerkelijk aanraken van het water is meestal twee en een half uur. De werkelijke tijd besteed aan de zwembaden is ongeveer een uur en veertig minuten.
Grotverkenning : Tot slot ziet u ontzagwekkende watervallen en onverwachte avonturen die onze gasten hebben beschreven als “levensveranderend”. Onze gidsen nemen je mee om de grotten en tunnels te verkennen die hier liggen. Geniet van de watervallen die de grotten bedekken en neem een duik in het warme zwembad in de berg.
Rivierontspanning : Vervolgens wordt de turkooiskleurige rivier goed beheerd en is van nature warm door de thermale bronnen, een complete ontspannende ervaring. De lunch vindt plaats langs de rivier (als het weer het toelaat). Lunch is niet inbegrepen. Wij bieden een menu waarvan u uw bestelling kunt plaatsen om tijd te besparen en beter te genieten van de rivier. We halen uw lunchtotaal overdag op, tenzij u heeft betaald voor LUNCH COVERED OPTION ($ 220MXN MAX). Tafels en stoelen zijn inbegrepen. Houd er rekening mee dat de tijd die u besteedt inclusief de tijd is die het kost om u de hele dag te verplaatsen. We vertrekken al om 3:30 tot 5:30 uur, afhankelijk van de efficiëntie en timing van de groep, en arriveren al om 7:30 tot 21:00 uur (onder gunstige omstandigheden), vol nieuwe ervaringen en foto's om te delen met jaloerse familie en vrienden.
Op weg naar huis stoppen we bij twee toiletten. Typisch eerste stop is 1 uur in, dan 2 uur later, dan eindelijk aankomen in CDMX, weer en verkeer het toelaat.

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
Pick-up en drop-off in de volgende gebieden ALLEEN : Roma Norte, Roma Sur, Condesa, Juárez, Polanco, Anzurez, San Rafael, Cuauhtémoc (de wijk, niet het stadsdeel), Tabacalera, en Centro Histórico. Afzetten in Centro Historico is vaak beperkt tot één afzetpunt in de buurt van Palacio de Bellas Artes, vanwege wegbeperkingen overdag en 's avonds. Als u in Centro Histórico verblijft, kunt u inleveren bij Palacio de Bellas Artes. Dit gebied heeft vaak veel verkeer en beperkte toegang als gevolg van straatafsluitingen of lokale evenementen. In aanmerking komende klanten voor ophalen zullen worden gevraagd om te BEVESTIGEN dat ze klaar zijn voor ophalen 5 - 10 minuten voor het geplande (tijdstip bevestigd na boeking / voor reisdatum) ophaalvenster. Als er geen bevestiging is, wordt de pick-up geannuleerd en wordt de cliënt gevraagd om uiterlijk om 05:00 uur op het algemene ontmoetingspunt te ontmoeten.

Tania and Pepe were amazing! This was a once in a lifetime opportunity that was only made possible by the two of them! Tania went above and beyond and took pictures of everyone in the group which was nice and gave a great tour of Tolantongo! The long drive scared me, but with many breaks my anxiety went away and always felt safe and allocated for by Tania and her great communication before and during the trip! Gracias!!
This is a must do experience if you are visiting CDMX! Damian was our guide for our tour and he made this trip a breeze. I liked they provided items for the activities which included: towels, water bottle, shampoo, soap, head light, water protector for your phone, blanket, toilet paper, and a bag to carry it all ( which is nice if you don’t want to get your personal bag wet or pay for storage ) They give you two towels, one that’s in the bag, and another one during the last water activity to shower. When they give you the second towel it’s in a plastic bag so you can use it to put your wet clothes! One thing that I would highly recommend is getting water shoes! During the cave and river activity it can get very rocky. Many people bought them on the 2nd stop on the way there. Make sure to bring cash‼️‼️ 10/10 tour and guide 😊
I’m sad to say that this excursion wasn’t the best. I really wish we had thought more about it before committing to it. First thing, & it does disclose this in the booking, so we were aware of this, but knowing what we now know, I wish we had give. It more thought. It’s an 4 hour bus drive. But it is the most uncomfortable, dangerous drive ever. Our driver Diego was a maniac. No care for safety, would be driving on the side of the highway, texting while driving, high speeds, hard brakes, hard turns, you name it. It was awful. Our “host” Diana was mediocre at best. She was friendly, but she took FOREVER with getting us from one place to the next. She probably held our party back 1:30-2 hours. Luckily the actual hot springs were beautiful, but again, waiting on our host took away from spending time at places because we were waiting on her. Finally by the end of the day, everyone on our bus was OVER it and our host took forever to get us on the road. Finally, and this is what pissed me off, we had pre-paid for our lunches. Oh no, she came up to us on stop 2/3 on the way back to Mexico City saying that we still owed her for our lunch. An absolute scam! She told us that our lunch plates cost more than what we pre-paid for??? Makes 0 sense. I believe she scammed us for more money. Absolutely ridiculous. Also, the lunch, they forgot maybe 4 people’s meals and that set us back about 35-45 minutes. Plus, one couple could share a meal. It was HUGE. There’s no need for anyone to have their own plate. By the time we were home, everyone on the bus was irritable, tired, hungry. Diana provided “snacks” and even at one of the rest stops she never told us she paid for our bathroom stop, and the station we were at charged us to use the bathroom! Again, another scam. I’d give this experience a 4 out of 10. Save your money, enjoy Mexico City and do anything else.
What a beautiful place. Our tour guide was great at keeping everything organized. I recommend wearing water shoes and being prepared to walk. The zip line was lots of fun. Diego was a great tour guide. He was very friendly, helpful and very organized. The lunch was delicious and they had amazing Pina Coladas. Be prepared for a long and fun day

This was an out of this world experience I’ll recommend it to anyone and everyone I know Mexico is an amazing place with the most beautiful sites, our tour guide Danny was also really really nice and helpful and informative, from the pools to the zipping the caves the amazing waterfalls and the rivers 100000/10
10/10 must! We had Monica as our tour guide and Pepe as our driver! Our day was great, started on time, got picked up at our location. Every stop was great, food was good for breakfast. We were the first ones there so being a buffet we got first dibs which was great. Tour was lovely, Monica explained everything well and got us on time everywhere. She was so knowledgeable and kind!
The excursion is very good; the guide provides information about the caves and it was very fun to spend time with friends. At the end of the day, we were very satisfied.
The key takeaway is that this is a long and tiring day but worth it. Doing this tour and the Teotihuacan pyramids tour will stay with me forever. Things you should know: You need to be prepared to get a lot of info on WhatsApp at 8pm the night before. It’s all fairly clear and useful but it’s worth putting 20mins aside. It would be great to get this 48 hours before. It’s an early morning start, the drive is long and very bumpy but beautiful near the end. The breakfast is very basic but ok. But all this is worth it for the time you spend there. The photos of it are so good it could be AI but it does genuinely look like that - or better. First two hours spent bathing in thermal tubs - quieter, hotter, best view ones are at the top but to the right as you look out. I could have stayed forever. The cave walk is crazy! So many people and you just drop into hot water but it was so much fun we did it twice. The lunch (you order in the 8pm messages) was good and we all sat together near the final (natural) bathing area. We left to go back at about 3.30pm after a shower. A lot, a packed day but just fun and a different experience. We had a great guide - Lalo who had perfect knowledge of the day and was very accommodating to different needs. And finally - thanks to the driver- I could not have done that.
This was truly such an amazing experience. Adrian was very communicative from prepping us the day before to the very end of the excursion. Aside from the great views on the way, Adrian provided a lot of history information which I thought was a nice touch. Him and the driver Pepe were very well prepared on the items they provide. This is a very only day, but it is very much worth it. I would definitely do this again and I would definitely recommend Adrian and Pepe. Couldn’t have asked for better service!
