We beginnen deze tour in de ochtend, vertrekkend vanuit de lobby van uw Dode Zee Hotel (Jordaanse kant) en rijden ongeveer 3 uur over de woestijnsnelweg om de verbazingwekkende site van de rotsstad Petra te bereiken. De prachtige rozerode stad Petra, het kroonjuweel van Jordanië, ligt 240 km ten zuiden van de bruisende hoofdstad Amman. Opgericht rond de 6e eeuw voor Christus door de avontuurlijke Nabateese Arabieren, transformeerde deze nomadische stam het gebied in een bruisend handelscentrum dat zich uitstrekte tot in Syrië. Bij aankomst begint u aan een spannende tocht te paard in de betoverende Siq-kloof, gevolgd door een heerlijke wandeling naar het adembenemende Schatkamermonument. U zult ook andere opmerkelijke bezienswaardigheden tegenkomen, waaronder de charmante Gevelstraat, de indrukwekkende Koninklijke Tombes en het fascinerende kasteel van de farao. Bovendien is het vermeldenswaard dat Petra zijn plaats als een van de Nieuwe 7 Wereldwonderen heeft verdiend!

Geniet van een onvergetelijk Petra-avontuur van een hele dag vanaf de serene Dode Zee. Uw vriendelijke chauffeur haalt u hartelijk op bij uw hotel aan de Dode Zee en neemt u vervolgens mee op een schilderachtige rit naar de iconische Petra-site. Ontspan en geniet van het prachtige uitzicht terwijl onze Engels sprekende chauffeur u begeleidt over de pittoreske Desert Highway naar Petra. Houd er rekening mee dat de reis ongeveer 3 uur duurt, maar we maken het speciaal met een aangename stop onderweg om je ervaring te verbeteren!
Eenmaal aangekomen bij het bezoekerscentrum in Petra, zal uw chauffeur u helpen met het kopen van uw tickets, en een lokale Gids (optioneel) kan meer informatie geven over de architectuur en geschiedenis van het gebied.
De prachtige rozerode stad Petra schittert echt als de belangrijkste attractie in het prachtige land Jordanië. Zodra de tour is afgerond, wacht uw chauffeur op u op dezelfde plek waar u bent afgezet (Visitor Centre). Van daaruit kunt u zich klaarmaken voor uw reis terug naar de Dode Zee, of als u dat liever doet, kunt u ervoor kiezen om te worden afgezet op de luchthaven of een andere locatie van uw keuze in de omgeving van Amman.

We had a fantastic day exploring Petra from the Dead Sea with our driver Bardaghawi. He messaged us the day before to confirm a pick up time and arrived at our hotel on time. He was very friendly and knowledgeable pointing out points of interest and stopping a few times on the way to take in the amazing views. On arrival at Petra he instructed us where to go and let us explore it at our own pace we just needed to message him when we wanted picking up. In my opinion this was a great way to see Petra as we weren't tied down to another people could explore at our own pace and really just enjoy the experience, thanks again Bardaghawi!

The tour with Mohammad war perfect. He was just in time at the pick up place und brought me fast and secure to Petra. On the way we stopped at beautiful photo spots for taking pictures and Mohammad is a true cinematographer:)

We had a full day tour to Petra from our hotel the Kempinski at the Dead Sea. Our driver Mohammad bardaghawi was wonderful. It is a long journey about 3 hours from the Dead Sea, he gave us information on the way about the region and we made a couple stops, one for Turkish coffee and the other at a local shop before we started the last leg up the mountain to Petra. We had a private guide for 2 hours once inside Petra, then we walked the famous 800 steps to the Monastery and it was so worth it. If you don’t want to walk there are donkeys you can get as well. There is a wonderful place to eat run by the locals at the top with a nice view of the Monastery. It was not crowded at all due to the conflicts in the region but it is safe and can’t believe we experienced this wonder of the world with no large crowds, if you are wanting to go please do the people are very nice and welcoming to tourists and like to share their cultural heritage with you! It was a surreal experience to be able to travel to Petra.

We booked a tour with a pickup from Hilton Dead Sea Resort with all entrances and a guide pre-booked at Petra. Anas was our driver and he was exceptional. The drive was comfortable and smooth with some interesting stop-offs along the way. His knowledge of the history of Jordan and Petra was excellent and made the 3 hour drive pass by very quickly. At Petra he came with us to sort the tickets and introduce us to our guide for the day. After a great tour Anas was waiting to collect us for the drive back to the hotel. Would definitely recommend this tour to others.

Very enjoyed the trip, thanks Viator and R&H VIP transport and services,especially for Mustafa the VIP driver, very helpful and so nice person and also nice car for us, too it was so very comfortable car.Mustafa gave us some informations about the trip,he was very kind person and fluently in English and he picked up at the Deadsea area and then after the end of the trip he drop us directly to the airport and we had been treat like VIP guests.
