Kom en ervaar de wonderen van het natuurreservaat Pilanesberg tijdens een open safaririt van een hele dag. Heb de mogelijkheid om de big 5 (leeuw, olifant, neushoorn, buffel en luipaard) van dichtbij en persoonlijk te bekijken. We halen iedereen rond 530 tot 6 uur op bij hun hotels in of Pretoria Johannesburg voordat we op safari gaan. Halverwege Pilanesberg houden we een korte stop voor wat verfrissingen. Onze open safari-ervaring begint rond 9.00 uur en eindigt rond 15.00 uur. We hebben een lunchstop van 1 uur bij het Pilanesberg Centre met uitzicht op een kleine drinkplaats. We verlaten het park rond 15.00 uur en de geschatte aankomsttijd in Johannesburg is ongeveer 17.30 tot 18.00 uur. We kunnen u op de luchthaven ontvangen, maar vergeet niet uw bagage mee te nemen. Waarnemingen in Pilanesberg zijn geweldig. We gebruiken alleen kleine voertuigen met 10 zitplaatsen en onze gidsen zijn allemaal buitengewoon gepassioneerd gekwalificeerd met extra interne training. Na het ophalen van uw hotel of verblijf in Johannesburg tussen 06:00 - 06:30 reizen we naar het Pilanesberg Nature Reserve. Bij aankomst neemt je gids je mee op een spannende ochtend open 4×4 safarivoertuig safaritocht op zoek naar de dieren die het Nationaal Park bewonen. Onze gidsen zijn goed geïnformeerd en zullen u diepgaande informatie geven over het dier dat u bekijkt en hun uiterste best doen om de leden van de Big 5 te vinden. Op het heetst van de dag geniet je van een lunch in een van de vele rustkampen in het Nationaal Park voordat je vertrekt op een safaritocht met gesloten voertuigen in de middag. Onze voertuigen verlaten het Nationaal Park tussen 15:30 – 16:00 uur om aan te komen

It was great, i wished i brought binoculars with me to be able to see the animals spotted far far away
This was the safari we ever took and we couldn’t be more pleased. Alex was our driver to and from the park. He was extra accommodating. He even let us off at the mall on our way back and waited to take us to the hotel. Martin was our safari guide and he was extremely knowledgeable. We saw lions, giraffes, zebras, rhinos, elephants, a rare cheetah and many more in just one day. He knew where to go to find the animals. I highly recommend this tour. You won’t be disappointed.
My first time at a safari and it was a thrilling experience spotting all the different animals in their natural habitat. We saw 3 out of the big 5 - elephant, lion and rhino - and a bunch of others. I'm writing this review after also visiting Chobe National Park and I found that the animals in Pilanesburg tended to be further away in the distance and required some sharp eyes to spot. Appreciated my sharp-eyed guides and fellow travellers who made this a fun experience.
Very good service, Excellent Paseo, we got almost all Big Five, missed only the Lions, the Lunch was very good.
We just came from Chobe NP so we were on the fence about booking this, but we are SO glad we did because our tour guide did the mosttttt to make sure we saw that leopard on our ride!!! We had an amazing time, we saw 4 out of the big 5 (no lion 🥲) on a day trip! Highly recommend to all

Amazing experience with guide Vincent. Vincent was fun and knowledgeable and great at spotting animals and birds. I would recommend going with a guide rather than self driving as you benefit from their wealth of knowledge and their being in connection with the other guides to know what animals are where in the park. An truly wonderful experience in a beautiful landscape. It was a once in a lifetime experience when we saw a lioness moving her one month old cub walking right behind our vehicle. Highly recommended.

The Full Day Pilanesburg Experience was absolutely amazing! To begin, pickup from our hotel went seamlessly. Though the drive to the park was about 2.5 hrs, our driver, Simon, did a great job of telling us fun facts about the tour. At first, we were worried the rainy/cool weather would keep most the animals in hiding. But the sky began to clear up as soon as we arrived at the park. Our guide, Petrus, was incredibly informative and very skilled at spotting animals even in the distance. We saw rhinos, giraffes, elephants, hippos, wildebeast, zebra, and a mix of other flaura and fauna. We didn't see the lions, but the trip was still very worthwhile! All in all, I cannot recommend this tour with MoAfrika tours enough!

What a great experience! I had an amazing time in Pilanesburg Park seeing the Big 5. Our guide Chris was amazing and explained so much about the animals, their habits and things to look out for during the drive. I will definitely come back for another safari in South Africa!
