Begin aan een wandeling bovenop de hoogste vulkaan van Europa, de Etna, terwijl we de schilderachtige paden doorkruisen en ons verdiepen in de unieke geologie en kenmerkende vegetatie. Geniet van ontzagwekkende vergezichten terwijl u langs de randen van oude slapende kraters slentert. Deze excursie neemt je mee naar de hoogste vulkaan van Europa. We zullen de zuidkant van de Etna verkennen, op een van de meest verbazingwekkende paden die de vulkaan te bieden heeft. We zullen ook de beroemdste lagere oude kraters bezoeken (ongeveer 2000 mt) waar we langs de rand van de oude krater zullen lopen. Het is ook mogelijk om naar de bovenste kraters te gaan (ongeveer 3000 mt). We zullen een picknicklunch nuttigen in de buurt van de krater. Ik breng je kort na de lunch terug naar je hotel.

Giuseppe was an excellent guide for our family’s first trip to Mount Etna. He was full of fascinating information about the history of the volcano and the plant and animal life to which it is home; and we very much enjoyed the breathtaking views afforded by the walking trail we followed with him. All in all it was a very memorable day and we would highly recommend the trip!
This is was a highlight of our family vacation to Sicily! Giuseppe is a great tour guide and we learned a lot about not only Mt. Etna but the history and culture of the surrounding regions. The nice part about this tour is that it's all managed by the operator so he came to get us at our hotel and dropped us back afterwards. We did not have to deal with a third party to get there or a separate driver. I would highly recommend this tour, especially if you are in the Siracusa area since it is a bit farther than other locations from Mt. Etna.

We had a lovely experience on the Etna with Guiseppe, he was personable and knowledgeable guide that had a lot to share on everything nature, culture, history and geology. This helped me to better understand this special landscape. Guiseppe is clearly passionate about sharing his love for Sicily and all she has to offer and going on a tour with him is a tailored experience and Guiseppe ensures you are well cared for. Giuseppe was knowledgeable, interesting and paced the hike to our group. His enthusiasm and passion for the history, nature architecture and geology of Scicily was a joy to listen to.
Giuseppe was a fantastic guide who told us numerous facts about Etna during our hike. He was thoughtful and considerate too accommodating the hike for my wife as well who needed to go a little slower On the ride back we were telling him the reason we came to Siciliy was to explore the area where my family came from and he started calling friends to see if we were related. We think we may have found some long lost relatives now. It really made the experience memorable and something we will never forget.
Our second day with Giuseppe last week was an amazing trip up Mount Etna, where he guided us through clouds, snow, wind and altitude to a spectacular experience. Both days he was sensitive to our interests and capabilities. For our trip to Mt Etna he was equipped with poles for mountain walking, lighted helmets for an exploration through a lava tube, and even hiking gaiters for our walk through the Mt. Etna snow. An amazing and knowledgable guide - Giuseppe would give anyone a true and unforgettable Sicilian experience.
