U reist langs de Landschapsroute, een schilderachtige weg met een indrukwekkend uitzicht op de bergen en vulkanen. Onderweg maak je verschillende stops om foto's te maken en het adembenemende landschap te bewonderen.
Aankomst in Panajachel voor ontbijt. Ontmoet uw lokale Gids en start een gedeelde boottocht op het meer van Atitlán.
Bezoek San Juan La Laguna, waar coöperatieve vrouwen het weven van voorouderlijke Maya's demonstreren, plus lokale kunstgaleries en chocolade- en honingdemonstraties.
Je hebt vrije tijd om deze stad te verkennen. U kunt een bezoek brengen aan de plaatselijke kerk, de inheemse markt en genieten van een kopje versgemalen koffie.
In Santiago heeft u tijd voor de lunch voordat u geniet van een leuke panoramische tuk-tuk tour door de stad. Great overview tour of the Lake and towns - San Marcos La Laguna and Santiago Atitlan were highlights - great way to visit this wonder
The transportation was private but the tour was not. The tour group was fun in the end and the guides were nice, but the whole day felt very rushed. Only a few minutes were spent at each location/activity. The second town, San Pedro, is not worth it as there is nothing to see in the short time. The rest of the towns and activities were great, with lots of new knowledge, great scenery, good food, and great people. Overall, a great day getting to know Lago Atitlan!

I think this tour is the best option to get to know the surroundings of the lake. It is very well organized and allows you to go through the essentials; then, if you have more time, you can go back on your own to the towns you liked the most. To get an overview of the place, it works perfectly. The guides are local, have a lot of knowledge and clearly explain aspects of their culture and traditions. A highly recommended experience to start discovering Lake Atitlan.

I had the opportunity to do a tour with Francisco and Hannibal and honestly it was one of the best experiences I have had in Guatemala. From the beginning it was punctual, friendly and very professional. You know deeply the history, culture and traditions of the villages around the lake, which made the tour not only beautiful, but also very enriching. This tour was absolutely amazing. Everything was so well organized and so well thought out. The itinerary flowed perfectly, and ending the day with hot chocolate was such a special touch that really wrapped things up on a high note. Our driver was also very professional, and even with the language barrier he went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable during the ride. The whole team really exceeded my expectations and logistically the day couldn’t have gone any better. A very special mention to our guide Nicholas. He was nothing short of outstanding.
