Mijn naam is Miran, en in de laatste 20 jaar van mijn leven heb ik medereizigers zoals jij begeleid op mijn beroemde Enjoy Herzegovina tour. Ik ben geboren en getogen in Mostar, dat ik beschouw als een van de mooiste steden ter wereld, en heb sindsdien een hostel en tourbedrijf gebouwd. Ik heb een uniek inzicht in de geschiedenis van mijn regio, een regio die zowel tijden van voorspoed als de verschrikkingen van de oorlog heeft meegemaakt, een geschiedenis die ik ontroerd voel om te delen met mensen van over de hele wereld. U wordt opgehaald van mijn hostel, Hostel Miran, dat ligt op slechts 5 minuten afstand van het busstation, en zal worden vervoerd in een comfortabele en airconditioned minivan. U ziet Blagaj Derwisj Klooster, Pocitelj Kasteel en de omgeving, en natuurlijk, de prachtige Kravice Watervallen. Daarna rijden we Mountain Fortica op met het beste uitzicht op Mostar en de nieuw gebouwde Sky wandelbrug. Neem uw paspoort, zwemkleding en handdoek mee.

Het Blagaj Dervish-klooster, gebouwd in de 16e eeuw, is de eerste stop in onze tour. Het klooster is gebouwd in een natuurlijke grot en trekt toeristen van over de hele wereld met zijn schoonheid.
Historisch dorp met een openluchtmuseum en adembenemend uitzicht op de rivier de Neretva. Bezoekers zullen verschillende historische bezienswaardigheden zien, waaronder de Hajji Alija-moskee, de Kula-toren en het Gavrankapetanovic-huis.
De parel van onze tour, de Kravice-watervallen, zijn een unieke waterval van tufsteen in de regio en verrassen zelfs de doorgewinterde reiziger met hun majestueuze schoonheid. Bezoekers hebben voldoende tijd om te zwemmen, zonnebaden, te genieten van een maaltijd in een van de restaurants en het natuurpark te verkennen.
Aan het einde van onze tour worden bezoekers naar de top van de berg Fortica gereden, waar ze kunnen genieten van een fantastisch uitzicht op Mostar en de omgeving. Degenen die op zoek zijn naar avontuur en spanning, kunnen ook betalen om een van Europa's langste zip-lijnen af te zippen.

Started with lookout point above the city and learned some modern history over coffee, water, and burek provided by Miran Then we beat the crowds to each spot Blagaj monastery built into the rock, with beautiful river. Plenty of time to walk around and get a coffee or beer/ glass of wine (in our case). Then onto the Castle and town Pocitelj with enough time to climb to the viewpoint and lookout the tower windows over the river. Finished at Kravice with time to have a feast (extremely reasonable price) with the best meat platter we have had in Europe. Bring trunks and towels because you are going to want to dip in the water fed from the waterfalls. So refreshing. Overall one of the best tours for our taste we have had over 40 countries in Europe. Miran was most hospitable, knowledgeable, and strong spirited. Don’t hesitate when looking for an excursion in Mostar, this is the one.
Miran is such a kindhearted person and a great guide , incredibly generous in every sense. Go with him if want to learn more about this beautiful country, you will not be disappointed.

The day with Miran was a day of encounter: an encounter with a wonderful person, with the places he has always lived and with his history in those same places. We were immediately put at ease by the guide, who took us to some of the most beautiful places in Herzegovina through an intense and sincere story, which showed us the reality of Mostar and its surroundings in its most authentic light: the view from Fortica, the Blagaj tekija, the streets of Počitelj and the natural beauty of the rivers Buna, Trebizat and Kravica Falls. I absolutely recommend it both for the organizational ability of Miran and his staff and, above all, because seeing Mostar and Herzegovina with the accompaniment and friendship of such special people is something you will carry with you forever. A sincere and heartfelt thank you!
Our wonderful guide, Miran, was exceptional - he is a native of Mostar and has lived through all of its difficulties over the years. He is passionate about his area and country and incredibly informative. We learned so much! He was fun and funny, warm and enthusiastic. I highly recommend this great adventure!!!
Miran was very hospitable, kept the trip humorous yet sincere, and clued us in on all the geopolitical developments happening behind all the scenery and monuments we saw. A lot of what he showed us couldn’t be showed in a book or museum, and his brought a lot of written facts about Mostar to life. Also felt really safe as a solo female traveler in the group, which is always a blessing. I didn’t stay in the hostel but it seems really clean too.
