Ontmoet je Engels sprekende lokale gids in je hotel en vertrek in een van de beroemde auto-riksja's van de stad, ook wel bekend als een tuk-tuk in Azië, voor een stadstour met een verschil! De tuk-tuk is een van de beste manieren om door drukke straten te rijden, in en uit het verkeer te sijpelen, door snelkoppelingen en smalle rijstroken af te leggen en je gemakkelijk naar de drukste gebieden te brengen. Rijd langs de beste attracties, markten, tempels en historische monumenten van Delhi voor een uniek uitzicht over de stad. Let op: er zijn geen entreegelden inbegrepen in dit arrangement. De prijs van de tour is een vast bedrag voor de gids en tuk-tuk voor een of twee passagiers.

Begin uw tour met ophalen vanaf uw favoriete locatie in het centrum van Delhi om 9.00 uur. Onze gids zal je ontmoeten in de lobby van je hotel met tuk-tuk en chauffeur. Nadat je bent opgehaald, begin je je tour vanuit Old Delhi. Je bezoekt de Jama-moskee. Het is een van de grootste moskeeën in India waar meer dan 25.000 duizend mensen tegelijk kunnen bidden. Het werd gebouwd door Mughal-keizer Shah Jhan in 1644-1656.
Vervolgens verken je Chandani Chowk in de oude binnenstad. Hier kunt u genieten van een riksja-rit. Dit is een opmerkelijke manier om de oude stad en het beeld van de drukte en de drukte te verkennen, evenals de kleur van de smalle kronkelende straat, met veel mensen die u kunt meenemen. Lakshmi Narayan Mandir is ook wel bekend als Birla Mandir. De tempel is opgedragen aan Laxmi (de godin van welvaart) en The Narayana (God van de beschermer). Het werd gebouwd in 1939 en ingehuldigd door Mahatma Gandhi.
Waar Mahatma Gandhi werd gecremeerd. Waar je internationale vlammen kunt zien branden. IT is gedenkteken dat is gewijd aan Mahatma Gandhi.

We went on a full day city tour with Vivek as our driver and Shweta as our guide. They were both absolutely brilliant. We had a fantastic time exploring both Old and New Delhi. Would thoroughly, thoroughly recommend this tour to everyone.

This was a great private tour and well worth the money. We were picked up from our hotel which made the start of the day so easy. Our driver Vivek had a really tidy Tuk Tuk and we felt safe all day … our tour guide Nikhil was cheerful, experienced and really professional throughout the whole day… nothing was a bother. The sights included in the tour were interesting, but to us more importantly, the private tour was flexible so we were quick to add a tour of the Gandhi museum and shorten other parts of the tour … and even added a stop at the end of the day at a large market for some fruit and snack shopping … which in itself became quite a highlight as shopping with our wonderful tour guide Nikhil magically dropped prices and opened a whole range of stuff (local knowhow). The “snacks” included in the tour were a real surprise and sufficed for lunch amongst the hustle and interesting bustle of Chandri Chowk in Old Delhi. This tour is a great way to navigate the chaos of Delhi and was a terrific experience; a tour I recommend without hesitation as worthwhile and value for money. 5 star with a guide and driver who worked hard together to make our day a lot of fun.

My partner and I absolutely loved this tour with our guide Nikhil and driver Vivek. They made the whole day so special. While Nikhil had a plan for our day he was super flexible and so happy to change it to suit our needs. He even took us shopping at the end at some local markets when I wanted to buy a few things. For me, Shopping with a local was a real highlight of the tour! The time in old town was so interesting too. We visited the mosque and then tasted lots of delicious street food from places we would not have known to try. Vivek was a safe driver and they both went out of their way to be cheerful and helpful. Highly recommend this tour.
