Vroeg in de ochtend halen we je op bij je accommodatie en gaan we naar het oosten van Ulaanbaatar om het Chinggis Khaan Equestrian Statue (Tsonjin Boldog Complex) te bezoeken. Het standbeeld wordt beschouwd als 's werelds grootste ruiterstandbeeld de site wordt geassocieerd met historische gebeurtenissen waar Chinggis Khaan een gouden zweep vond. Na de lunch rijdt u naar het Nationaal Park Terelj en maakt u een uur durende paardrijtocht in het Terelj NP-dal met de interessante rotsformaties van. Naast Turtle Rock vang je Eagle op je schouder. Daarna wandel je naar de Ariyabal Tempel. De tempel ligt op de helling van de berg en is een geweldige plek voor een korte wandeling. De geografisch unieke vorm van Terelj is ontstaan door de invloed van water en wind door miljoenen jaren heen. Daarom kunt u prachtige landschappelijke foto's maken. Na de volledige dagtrip brengen we je naar je UB-accommodatie of de luchthaven.

We reizen naar de dichtstbijzijnde en beroemde toeristische bestemming in Ulaanbaatar, Gorkhi-Terelj National Park en het Chinggis Khaan Equestrian Statue (Tsonjin Boldog Complex), een standbeeld met een hoogte van 40 meter dat wordt beschouwd als 's werelds grootste ruiterstandbeeld. U leert meer over het Grote Mongoolse Rijk, evenals de geschiedenis van Mongolen in het hart van Azië en hun verovering over de hele wereld.
Je ziet de natuur van de zuidwestelijke regio van het Khenti Nuruu-gebergte, dat het einde is van de Siberische taiga. De natuurlijke omgeving en frisse lucht in dit bergachtige bosgebied met unieke rotsformaties zijn buitengewoon. U ervaart paardrijden dat een essentiële rol speelde in de Mongoolse nomadische levensstijl.
Naast de natuur is een van de mooiste plekken in het Gorkhi-Terelj Nationaal Park de Aryabal Tempel. De tempel ligt vlakbij Turtle Rock, op 56 km van de stad Ulaanbaatar. De omliggende gebieden zijn vol met granietformaties, gelegen tussen schilderachtige valleien en heuvels met een kronkelende rivier en bosjes bomen. De God Aryabal is een boeddhistische God die naar alle gebeden van de mensheid luistert en de mensheid helpt om van lijden te verlossen. De tempel is gebouwd in de vorm van een olifantenkop. De trap naar de tempel bestaat uit 108 treden, wat een gunstig getal is in het boeddhisme. Het symboliseert ook de langwerpige slurf van de olifant. Bovendien stonden borden met 144 boeddhistische leringen, geschreven in het Engels en Mongools, langs de zijkanten van het pad naar de tempel.

We booked a last minute private tour (2 days before) and everything turned out perfect and seamless! We reached out to Meet Mongolia via WhatsApp, and they were incredibly helpful and prompt in their responses. My husband and I wanted to modify the tour on their website -- and they were more than happy and accommodating to change things specifically towards our wants. The day of the tour, our guide promptly picked us up on the dot in our hotel lobby, where we then jumped into a comfortable SUV with driver. On the way out to the sights, we stopped along the way to pick up any food/snacks we wanted from a large Carrefour supermarket. Our guide also bought us plenty of water for our day trip there as well. From there, we stopped at the Chinggis Khaan Statue/museum, visited Turtle Rock, held an eagle, and visited the Monastery, before heading back to our hotel in the city. Overall, we had a fantastic time, seeing everything we wanted to see on our tour. Our guide (I can't remember his name) was amazing. His English was perfect, and we really enjoyed our time with him. He was incredibly informative, but we also really liked how he gave us authentic and honest descriptions of places/history without it feeling too touristy. We would definitely recommend this tour to other travelers, and would reach out again if we ever return to Mongolia!

This was a wonderful and comprehensive tour with a very knowledgeable and friendly tour guide. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wanted to see some of Terelj. I was very impressed that they gave helmets to the group when we rode horses, as many places do not do that.

Miigaa was so lovely, and gave me such a good insight to Mongolian culture! The tour itself was fantastic. Coming in winter was a risk (the Mongolian cold is no joke!) but Miigaa really looked after me! The tour felt very personalised, and it was nice to be able to do the tour at my own pace! The attractions themselves were fantastic, I loved the monastery the most, and although a little bit of a walk, the views were absolutely spectacular.
