Het werd in 1632 in gebruik genomen door de Mughal-keizer, Shah Jahan (regeerde van 1628 tot 1658), om het graf van zijn favoriete vrouw, Mumtaz Mahal, te huisvesten.
Agra Fort is een historisch fort in de stad Agra in India. Het was de belangrijkste residentie van de keizers van de Mughal-dynastie tot 1638, toen de hoofdstad werd verplaatst van Agra naar Delhi. Vóór de verovering door de Britten waren de laatste Indiase heersers die het hadden bezet de Marathas. In 1983 werd het Agra-fort ingeschreven als UNESCO-werelderfgoed.
Een moskee die schittert als een parel in een maanverlichte nacht, dus ook bekend als de Parelmoskee, Moti Masjid is een van de oudste moskeeën in de stad.
Hall of Private Audiences, was een kamer in het Rode Fort van Delhi, gebouwd in 1571 als een locatie voor recepties. Het was de locatie waar de Mughal-keizer Akbar hovelingen en staatsgasten ontving. Het was ook bekend als de Shah Mahal.

It was my 2nd time here and it was still breathtaking as my 1st time. Our guide, Kushi from Mystical Mumbai was very knowledgeable and guided us throughout the whole trip. She was patient and very engaging too. Had a great time in Agra.

Nick, Wasim and Kushi all did a fantastic job so we could have a great day out. Though the Taj Mahal was the highlight the visits to the craft workshops was excellent. Came home with some beautiful souvenirs.

This was an amazing tour! I am a young female and was traveling by myself so I truly wanted to go with a trusted service - this tour blew away my expectations. The pickup from my hotel was great and easy, once I got to airport everything was smooth and taken care of for me. When I landed in Delhi the tour guide and driver were waiting right outside for me. The car was very nice, I even got to take a little nap on the way to Agra. Once we got to Agra we went right into the Taj, my tour guide was very intelligent and knew a lot of interesting facts. After the Taj I had the chance to take a ride in one of the carts in the streets, which was amazing experience (definitely try to do this)! We also went to the fort and a couple very cool gift shops, during all of which the tour guide was extremely informative and fun! The entire trip went so smooth, this is a must do especially if you are traveling alone and want to see more if India. The company is very organized and truly wants you to have an amazing and unique experience. 10/10 for me :)

We arrived in Mumbai port and were picked up on time for our very long day- taxi to airport, flight from Mumbai to Delhi, then a four hour drive to Agra. All drivers were on time - very professional and pleasant. Cars were nice, flights were perfectly booked and there were no 'hickups' whatsoever! We knew it was gong to be a long day with lots of driving in traffic- which was quite an experience. Taj Mahal is fascinating, our guide was courteous and very knowledgeable and professional- he arranged for wheelchairs for our two seniors in our group- very helpful! All in all a wonderful day, great organization- thank you!!
