DE BESTE ALROUND BIG 5 SAFARI Ervaar een volledige dag safari met een combinatie van Addo Elephant National Park en Schotia Game Reserve. Addo heeft bijna 700 loslopende olifanten, buffels, leeuwen, zwarte neushoorns en luipaarden (de Big 5), plus diverse antilopen, zebra's, wrattenzwijnen, vogels en reptielen. Schotia, een dichtbevolkt privéreservaat met meer dan 40 zoogdiersoorten en ongeveer 2000 dieren, zorgt voor een uitstekende wildobservatie en was het eerste reservaat in de Kaapprovincie met vrij rondzwervende leeuwen, met bijna gegarandeerde waarnemingen.

Addo Elephant National Park met zijn populatie van bijna 700 vrij rondzwervende Afrikaanse olifanten, kuddes Buffalo, Leeuwen, Zwarte Neushoorn en de verlegen Luipaard, de legendarische Big 5, onder de vele soorten antilopen, zebra's en wrattenzwijnen, evenals de rijke en diverse vogel- en reptielenleven dat dit het op twee na grootste nationale park en een van de meest populaire bewoont en is gelegen in de Oost-Kaap van Zuid-Afrika.
Schotia Safaris is het oudste particuliere wildreservaat in de Oost-Kaap van Zuid-Afrika, grenzend aan de oostelijke kant van Addo Elephant National Park. Geniet van uw Safari in Zuid-Afrika in dit malariavrije reservaat, dat waarschijnlijk het dichtstbevolkte reservaat in Afrika is, en met meer dan 40 zoogdiersoorten en ongeveer 2000 dieren, het hele jaar door consistent goed wild kan bekijken. Schotia was het eerste reservaat in de Kaapprovincie met vrij rondzwervende leeuwen en we kunnen bijna garanderen dat we deze prachtige dieren tijdens elke gamedrive kunnen zien.

Pick-ups vinden plaats tussen 08u00 en 08u30 in de ochtend van Port Elizabeth. Of 09h00 van ADDO SOUTH GATE Entrance zelf. Een lid van ons team neemt de dag ervoor contact met je op via WhatsApp. KIJK UIT VOOR ZASENDLE AVONTUREN BIJ AANKOMST WAARSCHUWING!!!! Bij deelname aan een open 4x4 safari is het belangrijk om voorbereid te zijn op een scala aan weersomstandigheden, waaronder wind, kou, hitte, stof, regen en hobbelige wegen. Hoewel we ernaar streven om uw comfort te garanderen, blijven bepaalde aspecten buiten onze controle. Transfers komen ook voor in deze open voertuigen. Alle open 4x4 safari voertuigen hebben canvas zijkappen die tijdens de transfer gesloten worden voor een comfortabelere rit. Gasten moeten zich gepast kleden voor de verwachte weersomstandigheden om een comfortabele ervaring tijdens de safari te garanderen. Dit beleid geeft aan dat tijdens een safari, bij slecht weer, zoals hevige regenval, de tour doorgaat zolang minimaal één deelnemer door wil gaan. Om de safari vroegtijdig te beëindigen en terug te keren, moeten alle deelnemers dit collectief overeenkomen. Merk op dat er geen restituties plaatsvinden als de safari wordt afgebroken vanwege verzoeken van deelnemers om de safari af te breken.

We did a private safari with Riaan in Addo and it was the best decision of our trip. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and spotted so many animals we would’ve missed. His stories, humor, and passion made every moment special. We even booked a second tour the next day – a private Giraffe Walk – which was just as amazing. Riaan also sent us great photos afterward. Absolutely worth it – highly recommended!

We had an unforgettable safari experience in South Africa – all thanks to our amazing guide, Riaan. Our day started early with a guided tour through the breathtaking Addo Elephant National Park. From the very beginning, Riaan impressed us with his deep knowledge – not only about the wildlife and the parks, but also about South Africa, its people, and its culture. And the animals we saw – it was incredible! We started the day with elephants and Zebras, then immediately came across lions up close, followed by a rare black rhino, buffalo, kudus, and many different antelope species. All of this just in Addo! In the afternoon, we continued with a tour through the Schotia Game Reserve, and the wildlife sightings didn’t stop: giraffes, zebras, white rhinos, large buffalo herds, elephants again, another lion family, countless antelope, warthogs, a leopard tortoise – and even a hippopotamus. Riaan has an exceptional eye for spotting animals – he would often point them out long before we saw them ourselves. He could tell us everything about each animal: the species, whether it was male or female, how old it might be, and so much more. Every question we had, he answered with passion and detail. What made the experience even more special was that Riaan brought his professional camera, took beautiful photos throughout the day, and sent them to us afterwards – completely free of charge. That was such a thoughtful touch and really showed his dedication. Riaan is not only an incredibly knowledgeable and skilled guide – he’s also a genuinely kind and warm-hearted person. We felt so inspired and comfortable with him that we spontaneously booked another tour with him the very next day: a Giraffe Walking Tour, which was just as magical. If you’re anywhere near the Addo Elephant National Park, we wholeheartedly recommend booking your safari with Riaan. It was one of the most memorable travel experiences we’ve ever had. We had to he most amazing day with the tour operator Riaan, who took us out for a full day of adventure and spotting unspottable animals in both of the parks! He was amazing and really made our day, with his insightful knowledge of the area and all the animals, he really did go over and above to enable us to see as many animals as possible! The morning in Addo and afternoon in Schotia was the perfect combination, with a delicious lunch stop in between! Addo for mainly the elephants and Scotia for such a variety of other animals!
