Ontsnap aan de drukte van Dubai en ontdek de oude citadels, vissersdorpjes, ruige bergen en woestijnoasen van de indrukwekkende oostkust van de Verenigde Arabische Emiraten. Reis per touringcar met airconditioning door het Hadjargebergte, bezoek de steden Al Dhaid en Dibba Al-Hisn, het onlangs gerenoveerde Fujairah-fort en de Al Badiyah-moskee, de oudste moskee in het land. Neem een duik in de Golf van Oman, stop bij het Al Bithnah-fort en ga op jacht naar Arabische koopjes op de markt van Masafi.

Rijd oostwaarts door de oasestad Al Dhaid, bekend om zijn groente- en fruitplantages om Masafi te bereiken, waar je tijd hebt om de ‘Friday Market’ te bekijken. Bewonder het ruige Hajar-gebergte op weg naar het dorp Dibba, met tijd voor een wandeling door de kleine haven. De rit gaat verder langs de pittoreske kust langs kleine vissersdorpjes. Geniet van een lunch in een plaatselijke badplaats, met tijd voor een ontspannen duik in de Indische Oceaan. Daarna gaat de tour verder naar Al Badiyah, de oudste moskee in de Emiraten. In Fujairah City stop je bij het gerenoveerde oude fort voor foto's. Voordat we terugkeren, is er een laatste stop bij de groene oase van Bithnah.

- Je wordt opgehaald in een geschikt privévoertuig met airconditioning en een privégids.
- Kinderen tot 5 jaar moeten worden voorzien van een kinderzitje. Laat het ons weten als u een baby van 5 jaar en jonger heeft die meedoet aan de tour. Kinderzitje wordt verstrekt zonder extra kosten.
- Gasten die de VAE bezoeken tijdens de zomermaanden (juni - september) worden erop gewezen dat de piektemperaturen overdag soms oplopen tot 42 - 45 graden Celsius. De luchtvochtigheid kan in deze periode ook hoger zijn dan 90 procent. We raden al onze gasten aan om voldoende voorzorgsmaatregelen te nemen.
- De lokale touroperator behoudt zich het recht voor om een deel van de geplande programma's te annuleren vanwege overheidsbesluiten, feestdagen, weersomstandigheden of andere soortgelijke omstandigheden.
- Als onderdeel van de lopende preventieve maatregelen van het COVID-19-virus, blijven sommige van de toeristische locaties die zijn opgenomen in de gegeven reisroute gesloten, dus er zullen alternatieve bezoeken / fotostops worden geregeld.
- Gasten kunnen met onze gids overleggen en het reisschema aanpassen. Gasten moeten direct betalen als er een extra toegangsbewijs van toepassing is dat niet is opgenomen in het bovenstaande reisschema.
- Kledingvoorschrift: lichtgewicht zomerkleding is geschikt voor het grootste deel van het jaar, maar voor de wintermaanden kunnen truien of jassen nodig zijn, vooral 's avonds. Zonnebrillen van goede kwaliteit worden geadviseerd. Hoeden zijn aan te raden bij direct zonlicht.

Fujairah is one of a great place to visit .Our tour guide Chamil is very knowledgeable about the history and culture of the place . Our group enjoyed the Sandy beach resort, it’s so clean and no crowds at all! Really quite an experience!

It was interesting to get away from the city of Dubai and get a look at the hinterland, and Gulf of Oman coast. Nothing too remarkable except for the developments around the oil export terminal. The highlight of the tour was a 2.5 hour stop at a beach resort with buffet lunch. A bonus for those from cooler climates or from beach deprived areas. Pretty ordinary if have beaches within ordinary access. Footwear is required on the beach because of sharp rocks and embedded shells - we saw two patrons being bandaged up by attentive resort staff. I don't recall visiting Hatta despite the prominent mention in the tour description. An OK day - but nothing extraordinary.

Unfortunately, the beach is a full natural one and depending on the tide or climate there might be some stones or sharp shells at the beach. <p>Once again another journey well worth it. When you are in Dubai all you get is shopping centres and skyscrapers. On this trip you get to see a bit of the desert, the Hatta mountain range and various old buildings. This is how life was before oil was discovered. The guide was amazing and very knowledgeable. Answered all questions quickly and clearly. Only downside was we visited an antiques shop, this could have been any shop in Dubai selling the same stuff, did not see the reason for the visit. :</p>
<p>Tour in both English and German. It could get a bit confusing sometimes due to the constant language change other than that a great way to see other emirates!</p>
<p>Pick up on time from Dubai to Sharjah where tour commenced, about 30 min. Trip big day but worth doing. Saw enough to give idea of the country. Guide professional and informative. Day bigger than usual due to bad weather, rainstorm alternating sandstorm on way back. Driver competent and felt safe.</p>
<p>Really good day out and worth it if you are in the UAE and want to see more than just Abu Dhabi or Dubai.</p>
