Breng een ontspannen dag door tijdens een privétour in de pittoreske Yarra Valley en Warburton. Ga op een ritje met een tractortrailer om rijp en seizoensgebonden fruit te plukken van de bomen in de boomgaard. Breng tijd door in het schilderachtige en mooie dorpje Warburton, genesteld tussen de bergen en langs de rivier de Yarra, en pak een Australische taart. Verken het majestueuze Redwood bos en ontdek de rust van de kreek en het Eucalyptus bos erachter. Groep van maximaal 7 personen, dus een gepersonaliseerde tour. Houd er rekening mee dat als u een boeking maakt voor uw groep, niemand anders kan boeken, zodat het een privétour is die alleen voor uw groep is.

Je maakt een rondleiding door de grote boomgaard, op een tractor, en plukt op verschillende plekken fruit uit de bomen om te proeven, en verzamelt het in de meegeleverde zakken.
We maken een tussenstop bij het mooie dorpje Warburton, gelegen naast de bergen en de Yarra-rivier. We kunnen ronddwalen en als we honger hebben, kunnen we een hapje eten.
We wandelen door het Redwood-bos en gaan op weg naar de prachtige kreek erachter, omringd door hoge eucalyptus- en varenbomen.

Jay was an outstanding guide. He modified his standard trip for us and substituted a winery for one of his standard stops. The valley and short hikes were beautiful and the conversations in the car were informative and meaningful. We strongly recommend his tours.

It was a wonderful day, the fruit picking experience was perfect now that spring is starting, there was always good conversation and Jay was the best guide we could have had. Definitely an experience that I plan to repeat in another season to try new fruits.

Jay is a great tour guide and we picked Awaken Tours because they offered something a little different from what other mainstream tour operators are offering. Jay is friendly, very easy to talk to and goes out of his way to ensure that you’re having a good time. He doesn’t rush or make his tours feel like it’s a “checklist” of things to do. On this tour, we had a great time picking fruits that were in season, had a nice stroll in Warburton and a fantastic walk in the redwood forest. We made it back in good time to Melbourne, feeling like we saw enough but yet without feeling exhausted.

Jay was a great guide with a tremendous passion for the great outdoors. The forest was stunningly beautiful and a well kept secret so you can enjoy its beauty without bumping into too many people. The fruit picking was fun too! Would highly recommend the tour.
