Begin uw avontuur met een pick-up van uw accommodatie in Tirana. Ga richting de Shala rivier, door charmante Albanese steden. Bewonder de schilderachtige landschappen tijdens de 3,5 uur durende rit. Neem een korte stop om te stretchen, een kopje koffie te pakken en te verfrissen voordat je verder gaat richting de Komani Dam. Bij aankomst wacht een boot op u om u mee te nemen op een schilderachtige rit van een uur over het prachtige Komani-meer. Zodra u de Shala River bereikt, geniet u van voldoende vrije tijd om in het verfrissende water te duiken of gewoon te genieten van de natuurlijke schoonheid. Uw gids zal ook enkele lokale restaurants aanbevelen voor een heerlijke lunch. Na een dag verkennen stapt u weer aan boord van de boot voor de terugreis, waarbij u uw route terugbrengt naar het startpunt. Ophaallocaties en -tijden
Je wordt de dag voor de reis via whatsapp bereikt om je ophaalgegevens op te halen. Pick-up zal beginnen 0-30min voor vertrek en zal worden gedaan op Minivans, om deze reden kan u worden gevraagd om te lopen op de hoofdstraat. Als u niet beschikbaar bent om 100 meter van uw accommodatie te lopen, boek deze tour dan niet, omdat het vertrek heel vroeg in de ochtend is en één enkele vertraging het hele programma vernietigt. Te laat zijn op het ophaalpunt is alleen acceptabel tot 2 minuten van de opgegeven tijd, als u te laat bent belt u alstublieft niet onze telefoon we zijn al verhuisd naar het volgende ophaalpunt. Awesome experience. Also the guide was very professional for everyone speaking English and also French for a big group present in our main group . Very empathic and professional
Incredible trip. Travel is long but worth it (about 10hrs total, and 4hrs of free time on the river). Guide was kind and patient. There is a stop at a coffee shop for refreshments/toilet. Highly recommend this, one of a kind experience

We are not satisfied with the company, just book with get your guide! We were at the pick-up point twice for nothing in the morning at 5 am but did not see anyone from the tour. Because we didn't get our money back we went back to the 3rd and then we were picked up. The tour itself was okay. Beautiful nature. Put on a jacket for the boat, very wet and cold. On the spot itself more than 3 hours of free time, far too long because there is nothing to do, can not walk on the pebbles, river too cold to swim, zippline did not work and sunbeds 10 euros.
Excellent tour through beautiful mountainous terrain to Lake Kumani. Challenging roads managed in a professional manner by our driver! This tour is a long day, starting from Tirana at 5.30 am and arriving back at 21.15 not helped by a 2 hour delay in heavy traffic on the way back to Tirana. Don't let this put you off! It was a spectacular tour, not to be missed! Bledi was an excellent, friendly guide explaining timings, surroundings and history and gave a helping hand to tour members where required. The Shala River stop was so much more than we were expecting! Sun beds, parasols, restaurants etc in the middle of the Mountains! Holiday bliss!!
Had a lovely tour with Ervin to beautiful Komani Lake and Shala River. Boat didn't have a cover, which in May didn't rrally matter but in summer may get pretty hot.
Great day. Beautiful landscapes even if the sun played hide and seek. We felt like we were at the end of the world. Very exotic. Many thanks to Eni our guide who was available, nice, very friendly and accessible also with children. And with impeccable French.
Although it was cloudy most of the day, the beauty of the lake and river is unmatched. Our guide Collin was excellent. He gave us appropriate direction and was very helpful. I will definately recomment this tour.
My experience on the Shala River tour was absolutely fantastic. Our tour guide, Defrim, deserves special recognition for his attentiveness, informative commentary, and dedication to ensuring the day was truly memorable. He thoughtfully catered to everyone’s needs and preferences, making sure we all had the best possible experience. As the tour was out of season, we benefited from an intimate group size of just five including Defrim. The small group added a personal touch to the day. Fortunately, the weather was on our side allowing us to fully appreciate the stunning scenery and breathtaking views. A few practical tips for future participants: - **Dress warmly:** It can get chilly during the boat ride, so a jacket is recommended. - **Wear comfortable walking shoes:** There's plenty of walking involved, so suitable footwear is essential. - **Bring swimwear:** The river offers an opportunity for a swim. - **Carry cash:** Card payment options are not an option in the area. - **Prepare for boat changes:** Water levels can mean you need to switch boats during the journey. All in all, it was an incredible day and an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore the natural beauty of the Shala River and Komani Lake.
